Dear Dad,
It's me, Lana. I know it has been years since we last seen or talked to each other. I wish we could have had the father and daughter relationship like other people. But mom kept me in the house and hide everything from me.
I found the box she has filled with birthday gifts, cards, etc. that you have sent though out the years.
Thank you for never forgetting me and always including me in the family, even if I wasn't around.
You probably don't know the whole truth of what mom has done. And I want to explain but it all seems hard writing though a letter.
I found your address from the envelopes from the cards you sent. So I'm hoping that you haven't moved in the past two months since you sent me my birthday card.
I miss you. I also miss Sam and Diana. How are they? Are they well? What are they doing in life?
What about you, dad? What are you doing? How are you?
I'm okay. I wish I could leave this house. But I cannot. I cannot drive and I have no one to go too.
I haven't walked farther than to the mailbox since I was eleven.
I love reading, listening to music and watching tv. I also love online shopping because it's the only form of shopping I ever done.
I desire to travel! Anywhere! Just to get out of Texas for awhile.
I will send a picture too. Just so you can see how I have grown.
I love you Dad and I miss you so much.
Love,
Lana

 Love, Lana
