If Yoongi were still eating his cookie he would have choked on it several times more throughout Taehyung's explanation. The entire concept being told to him was foreign and he was finding it difficult to see it as something normal. A grown man acting like a child to relieve stress? How did people even come across these mechanisms?

As Taehyung finished talking the entire room became blanketed with thick silence. Yoongi didn't know how to respond to such news. What could he say? 'Oh, cool, my grown ass friends like to suck on pacifiers, nothing out of the ordinary!'. But he didn't want to be so harsh and judgemental. While Yoongi found it incredibly strange he still cared dearly for his friends. If this was how they coped then eventually the boy would have to come to accept it . . . or leave – which would never happen.

Movement from the corner of his eye caught Yoongi's attention. He looked down the hallway to find Jungkook poking his head out the doorway of the bedroom. Upon catching sight of Taehyung, the boy ran out and bolted to his 'caregiver'. It seemed that the typical boyfriend-boyfriend relationship Yoongi initially believed the two shared was far from what it truly was.

Jungkook jumped into Taehyung's lap, "I didn't do anything wrong. I promise."

"I know. It's ok," Taehyung raked his fingers through Jungkook's bangs, pushing them out of his face only for them to fall right back into the same place. Jungkook leaned into the touch, making himself more comfortable on Tae's lap.

Strangely, Yoongi didn't find it as uncomfortable as he had expected. Seeing the couple act this way seemed almost natural. Though, he could never see himself acting such a way with anyone. Yoongi intended on being alone for his entire life because things were easier that way. He maintained only himself and his writing – not a relationship.

Shortly after, Jimin and Jin were shyly waddling down the hallway.

"S – sowwy for throwing a piwwow at you," Jimin apologised as he hid himself behind a teddy bear.

Yoongi found himself unable to deny that this was maybe incredibly adorable. Jimin's plump lips in a pout and his mispronounced apology somehow made Yoongi's heart ache a little. Jimin was already naturally cute but it seemed that in 'little space' it was just intensified.

Taehyung gave an encouraging kick under the table to the older man.

"Oh," Yoongi cleared his throat, coming out of his thoughts, "it's fine."

Like a switch flipped, Jimin's pout became a bright smile. He thrust his teddy bear forward into Yoongi's chest.

"This is Bear," he informed the older boy cheerily.

Taehyung was taken back. While Jin was the shyest (in little space), Jimin was the one to take the longest to open up. Bear was his favourite toy and was given only to the people he trusted. If Jimin gave you Bear, that meant you were pretty much his best friend.

The two had barely talked yet Jimin was letting Yoongi pick up the teddy and look over it's wearing fur. It had been incredibly soft when they first bought it but having been handled so much it's lost that softness. Not only that but one of the eyes had fallen off. That day had been absolute hell for everyone. Jimin was a complete mess, throwing a tantrum the moment he came down from one. No amount of punishments could bring the boy to his senses. It was an entire three days before he finally calmed down and accepted that this was how Bear would be from now on.

Unlike his two friends, Jimin found himself lonely in big space and single in little space. He didn't have an exclusive caregiver. Hoseok came around every so often to care for him but even then it was just a nice friendship. Jimin had no one to lay down with, to cuddle, to kiss and to do all the things he secretly wished to do. Because of this, it was harder for people to calm him down as they were just friends and not a lover, not a real caregiver.

"What happened?" Yoongi asked, pointing to the missing eye on the teddy. He was taken back at how much gentler his voice sounded.

Jimin took his teddy back and held it above him, "he got into a space crash."

It was a story Hoseok had made up in an attempt to make him feel better. The reality was that Namjoon had accidentally ripped off the eye while trying to wash it. No one had the guts to tell the truth.

Yoongi slowly nodded his head, pretending to be surprised. What was he doing? Was he seriously going along with this childishness? . . . But he couldn't help himself, it was difficult to resist their cuteness.

"Go back to your colouring," Taehyung lifted Jungkook off his lap, gently hitting the boy's bottom. Jungkook giggled shyly before running back to the bedroom with his two friends following behind.

"A thought just came to mind," Tae leaned back in his chair, "Jimin's usually alone. He doesn't have anyone to live with."

Yoongi already knew where this was going. He picked up his bag and pulled the worn straps over his shoulders.

"Come on," Taehyung pleaded, grabbing Yoongi's wrist to stop him from leaving the house, "you both need a roommate."

Yoongi pulled his wrist back, "I'm living perfectly fine on my own."

Taehyung sighed and slumped down in his chair.

"It would mean the world to him."

Yoongi held back an eye roll as his heart acted first. He loved his friends and would do anything to help them and make them happy. He sighed and rolled his head back, pinching the bridge of his nose before he gave Taehyung a deadpan look.

". . . fine, maybe."

God damn feelings.
