Once again, I just want to say that, I'm really grateful for the support this story has gotten in the past week. It may not me as much as the other stories on wattpad, but for me it was so much more than I expected!
This chapter is a little different, so I'd really love feedback and comments.
Hope you guys enjoy this one!
Thanks xx

CHAPTER 4
Ty's POV
I was more restless than ever. I anxiously glanced at my cell phone, waiting for it to ring. I looked out the door, trying to focus on something else than the call I hoped would come through.
An unexpected scent filled my nose. I wondered why her scent was so strong. Even with my heightened senses, it was surprising that it had lingered in the room almost three whole days after she left.
It was beautiful, soft and fresh, fun even. I scoffed at the thought. Fun was one word that I was not familiar with. At one time maybe, but not now. And not ever again.
I was so caught up in thoughts of the past, that the sound of my phone ringing made me jump. In three easy strides, I crossed the room, swiftly picking the phone up from my bed.
"Hello?" I answered brusquely, not bothering with the usual polite greeting that was expected of me.
"Dan's agreed, Ty," a sharp female voice sounded on the other end of the line. Rachel, Dan's mate, didn't sound very happy.
"You're getting a second chance. Trust me, that doesn't happen often, especially where Dan is concerned. This time, try not to screw things up. Same place, one hour. Be there." I heard the click at the end of the line, and blinded by anger I threw my cell phone at the french doors, smashing the glass into pieces.
I raked my hands, which were shaking with anger through my hair.
Damn the whole Lupei Pack. Whenever I tried to do something good, they always made it seem like I had made a terrible mistake. It was high time they let go of old grudges.
I was Alpha, just like Dan, meaning we held the same rank. He had no right to threaten and control my life or the lives of my pack members,
It was time to solve this, once and for all.
"You should have learned to control your temper by now, Ty." My mothers voice sounded from the far side of the room.
I turned to face her, making sure to school my expression to one of indifference. She took politeness very seriously.
"Rachel called me as well. She wanted me to make sure you realize what an opportunity you've been given."
I finally hit my breaking point. I took a step towards her, balling my hands into fists at my side. I could feel my nails digging into my palm, drawing blood, but I didn't care.
"An opportunity? Do you think I haven't got that in my head yet? You've got to be kidding me, these people are looking for a chance to take over our pack, and you know it! There is no possibility of peace between the two packs, not until they start treating me like Alpha. Not until they stop tormenting the younger pack members."
In all the years that I had known Sarah Castile, I've never seen her look at me the way she was gaping at me right now.
I swore when I realized that I had let my Alpha authority leek into my voice.
Before I could apologize, she gathered herself and walked away from me, pausing at the door.
"You're right Ty, you broke whatever chance we had at peace the night of the accident."
