days later, everything was normal. jungkook was on his way to the dance studio, earphones in, volume up, hands stuck in his pockets.
everything was fine. he had decided to not confront taehyung on what jimin had said, in fact the two acted like nothing had happened. as if everything had gone back to the way it was.
jungkook couldn't decide whether he was fond of the way they were both acting towards eachother or not.
he also couldn't decide whether the feelings he felt were normal or not.
he got to the studio, meeting jimin and hoseok. "hey," he took his earphones out, slipping his hoodie off into a corner.
jimin simply smiled, pausing the music. "you feeling okay?"
jungkook nodded a little and began to stretch his biceps, "all good in the hood."
"the rest are coming soon to work on the comeback. just practicing though, we're not learning anything." jimin smiled and grabbed his water bottle. "have you spoke to him yet?"
jungkook shook his head. "i'm not going to. i don't care about it."
that wasn't a complete lie. he had decided that he didn't want any conflict or tension throughout the group, and confronting taehyung about what he had said wouldn't help that. jungkook wasn't the type of person to speak up about issues as he wanted everybody to be happy around him, even if he wasn't.
and that was the way he was living.
"about what?" hoseok piped up, leaning against the table the two were next to.
"no-"
"taehyung."jungkook shot jimin a glare. "whatever, yknow. confidentiality isn't a thing here."
a sympathetic smile was shot his way. "taehyung told me something he shouldn't have and jungkook won't talk to him about it."
"why not?" hoseok frowned.
"exactly my point, hoseokie~"
jungkook rolled his eyes a little and shrugged. "i don't want conflict..."
"yeah, i get that. but taehyung is easygoing. he's easy to talk to about anything." hoseok unzipped his jacket, shrugging it off his shoulders as he spoke. "whatever it is i'm sure you can get past it. there's more important things than petty rumours."
"which is why i'm not going to say anything about it because it's unnecessary!"
"it's not unnecessary though, is it?" jimin rose his voice a little. "it's obviously upsetting you, and you're going to end up being petty about it and then he'll get upset. it'll be so much easier for you to grow up a little bit and confront him. sorry for being harsh, but it's the truth."
everything was silent. a pin drop could be heard, behind hoseok's slight sniggering.
perhaps jimin was right. jungkook just wanted to go back to how it was, living with his definitely dirty little secret and being left alone. however how would it be able to go back to that if he didn't at least bring it up?
"yeah. you're right."
"not the thing i thought i'd be hearing today-"
"i know i know. but you're right. there's no point in it, it'll put pressure on the group."
as if on cue, the door opened to laughing and shouting. "glazed donuts for everybody! pay me back though.."
jungkook's eyes could have rolled back further than asda prices. "i changed my mind." he spoke quietly, brushing past jimin and hoseok who exchanged rather confused, but content looks.
