09 - 'who tops?'

2 weeks later.

light flooded the room slowly, jungkook looking over at the window as the sun shone through the cracks in his curtains. he had woken up a lot earlier than usual, due to passing out earlier than expected.

he laid under the covers with taehyung, his arm around him as the elder slept with his head pressed against the chest. his now red hair was plastered onto his bare skin, giving him goosebumps whenever he moved.

jungkook slowly started to move away from him, retracting his arm and slipping off of the bed once he was able to. he moved to the dressers on the opposite side of his room, grabbing a fresh pair of sweatpants and slipping them on.

he looked back at taehyung before leaving the room, opening and closing the door as quietly as possible. he made his way to jimin and hoseok's room, knocking lightly.

the two were usually up early, and to his luck, the doors swung open quickly.

"thank god it's you." jimin grabbed his wrist, pulling him in and sitting him on the bed. "we woke up to some... news."

he furrowed his brows a little, crossing his legs on the messily made bed. "what do you mean by news?"

"you know that article that allkpop put on twitter?"

"yeah, where i'm seeing someone? i don't see how that's relevant-"

hoseok shoved his phone in his hands, biting down on his nails afterwards.

Two weeks ago, BTS singer Jeon Jungkook posted a cover singing 'Falling' by Harry Styles. Since the emotional cover was posted, fans around the world have been trying to decipher who the song could be about.

A fan spotted him and BTS singer V looking loved-up at a shopping centre in Seoul three days ago. The fan also told us that Jungkook had marks on his neck.

Was the cover about him, or someone else? Is Jungkook really dating someone?

jungkook read through all of it, a confused look shining on his face. "i never- what? how did they even get that photo?" he whispered, more to himself, before passing hoseok his phone back. "that's- that's insane, right? nobody's going to believe it."

this was crazy to read for jungkook. he was fine with the fans speculating whether he's dating or not, however this was different.

his thoughts were interrupted by his phone ringing in his pocket. he took it out, looking at the other two boys with panic in his eyes. "it's bang." he mumbled before answering.

oh shit, jimin mouthed to the both of them.

"hi, sir." he spoke quietly, before clearing his throat. "i-is everything okay?"

"yes, yes. i just need you to clear this up for me. have you seen the article about you and v?"

"i have, sir." jungkook nodded to himself, biting his lip before speaking again. "i don't think we should respond, but i'll address it on one of my lives."

he heard a sigh from the other line. "okay, if you think that'd be appropriate. however i just need to ask, and this is a purely professional question so we can calculate what to do from here. is it true?"
