For the next three days you and Damien spent as much time together as possible which got plenty of looks from the others. You didn't mind since this was the closest you've ever gotten to someone in four days. It started out as just fun, talking to the hot foreign guy with the mysterious name but after the second day you realized there was more to it than just flirting. Despite his bad boy exterior, he had a soft side which was even cuter.
You talked about anything and everything from favorite cereals to who would survive longest in the hunger games and even where you guys would travel together after he got out of juvie. You learned he was actually really well off and lived with his brother and mom in a huge mansion and even had a private jet. This was all taken away from him when he was framed for a huge drug deal which promptly got him arrested at 15. To keep from getting beat up, he made an alter ego character for himself. Damien wasn't his real name and he wasn't actually that much of a bad boy after all (although he could be if he needed to be). He made you pinky promise not to tell anyone or pick on him because his real name was Robert. He insisted this was the cruelest thing his mother had ever done in her life claiming it was embarrassing. Of course a pinky promise was a pinky promise and you didn't plan on breaking it.
The next day you were greeted by an overly enthusiastic Damien which you had started calling Amy much to his annoyance. Throughout the day your missions team held really childish games that everyone had to participate in. This kept you from having your daily conversations with Amy which was frustrating at first. However you our mood changed quickly, watching as Damian was forced to make arts and crafts which he dedicated to you by writing your initials next to his. Things got more interesting when twister was pulled out and you were chosen as the "leader" that had to participate. You tried to keep your connection with Damien low key, not wanting the adults leading your trip to give you a lecture. You've heard the flowers and bees talk too many times from Mrs. Nathan's who claimed girls were precious flowers that boys wanted to take advantage of. This proved harder than you were expecting when Damien took any chance he could get tangled up with your limbs. "Left foot on yellow!" The person called out. 'Uh oh' you thought to yourself. You had been stuck in a position where you were bending over Damien's body with the only thing keeping you up being your left foot. "Come on Judy you have to do it!" he laughed easily supporting himself despite the horrible positioning of his hands. "Here goes nothing"
As soon as you lift up your left foot, the right one slips out from under you leaving you flopping onto Damien with all your body weight. Your eyes widen and a grin spreads across your lips
"Woops".
" get off me! You're gonna make us loose" he gasped attempting to sound serious. "No Amy, we are winnersss!" You giggle lifting yourself off him and getting back into the position you were supposed to be in. Despite the complaints of the others who said you had cheated, you stayed in the game determined to win. By the next spin the other person had dropped out and it was just you and Damien fighting for the dub. Narrowing your eyes at him you give him a you're going down kind of look.
"Lemme know how it feels to loose" he sticks his tongue out at you.
"Ugh as if"
"Get a room" someone shouts out making everyone else laugh. Ok that doesn't even make sense, we're not doing anything but talking you think rolling your eyes. The next spin was right hand on red which was going to be nearly impossible for Damien since your butt was practically on the only other open red spot. Making eye contact, he smirks, about to move. 'Oh no, not today Satan'. Sticking you hand out and giving his leg a hard shove he slips and lands with a heavy thump on the floor. Victory was yours!! "Heyy Foul!! Did no one see that?!? She cheated" he whines . Giving everyone your best innocent face you tell everyone you don't know what he's talking about, accepting your place as the twister champion. You reach your hand out to help him off the floor, it was the least you could do after humiliating the bad boy and his reputation.
He grabs hold and to your surprise yanks you down on top of him for the second time today. You freeze in shock staying in this position until Mrs. Nathan's comes yelling, which was only about 3 seconds later.
Finally she left leaving the two of you somewhat alone.
"What was that?" you question turning to him laughing.
" I figure I deserve some kind of reward for my victory. I was gonna win if you didn't cheat" he says eyes sparkling with humor.
"Speaking of rewards that one was kind of interrupted... what about a second chance?"
Your eyes furrow in confusion "you want me to lay on you again" you laugh.
"No I want to take you on a date"
Butterflies erupted in your stomach and you shift back and forth on your feet.
"Um not to ruin the moment but how exactly is that gonna work with you ...ya know being locked up" you say hesitantly trying not to get your hopes up.
"Leave the worrying to me all you have to do is say yes"
'Wow this guy is smooth' you stand impressed by his quick responses.
"Okay, then yes" you say biting your lip to keep from grinning too much.
Just then your trip leaders called out that it was time to go.
"I'll pick you up tonight at 6?" He asks
"Can't wait!"
