Alfred's POV

" God damnit , I'm late. "

I groaned as I stared at the time.

I was awake last night , tossing and turning in bed.

I quickly put on my normal clothes for work.

I walked to work in a hurry , ignoring the people who walked on the sidewalks to.

" Watch it! "
I heard one yell , before walking off.

I opened the door , only to see Kao sweeping , and Boss no where to be found.

" Where is he? "
I thought.

Kao turned to me.

" Alfred! Have you seen our boss? He's an hour late like you. " He frowned.

" He hasn't came yet? " I said , closing the door.

" Yeah , I thought you knew where he was. "

" Maybe he's just late... "

" He's never late , Alfred. "

" Why don't we get to work? He'll probably find us chatting. "

" Say that to yourself , your late! "
He laughed.

I grabbed a broom , and began sweeping with Kao

Minutes , and minutes past. It felt like an hour.

" This is unusual of him being late. "
Kao finally said.

A bell rang , and the front door opened.

I swung my head to the door , expecting to see the boss , but no.

It terrified me.

A purple cat with a lab coat who walked in stood.

Jeremy.

" Hello, Hello! " He said.

" I'm mystery , and I'm your new boss-"
He said , smirking.

He turned to Alfred.

" Hey there.. "
He said.

" What's wrong? "
He smirked.

" Did ya miss me? "

He grabbed my chin , forcing me to stare at him.

" My best friend?... "
He got extremely close , he can hear him clear.

Alfred began panicking.

He snapped.

" N-No! I didnt! Why should I??.. "

" Why the fuck should I?! "

I yelled at mystery , as he let go of me.

" How the fuck are you still alive?! "

" And how the fuck did you find me?!"

At this point , mystery was looking At me with a emotionless stare.

He continued talking , without emotion.

" Oh , I searched for you for 20 years... because that's why best friends do.. Right? "

" WE'RE NOT BEST FRIENDS! "
I yelled.

" You... You killed my parents! "

I yelled again , mystery had a disappointed look now.

" And I was just a kid! "
I seemed to growl.

" AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY BOSS? OH LET ME GUESS , YOU KILLED HIM TO! "
I screamed .
