Thirty (New Leaf)

I walked to Caspians office and tossed him my phone.

"Basically his plan was to blow up individuals here and here since he's the smallest team. Snipe off a few and gather the rest here and pick em off." I said pointing to the map on Caspian's desk.

"The new plan?" He asked

I sat back and cleared my throat.

"Well what I told him was to change the plans since he now 'has the bigger team'. Round up everybody here, regular battle style but the suits I'm giving him are faulty. I ordered a lot of them but my team won't be wearing them. I'll make something up about them wanting to wear the regular clothes." I said

Caspian nodded his head and frowned.

"What about the bombs?" He said

"Took out bombs completely." I said

He scoffed and sat back in his chair.

"You really trust him?" He asked

I shrugged and looked at him.

"I don't really have 'trust' in anybody here anymore." I said

He licked his lips and looked down chuckling.

"What's the actual plan?" Nova asked

"Simple. Split my team in quarters and send Echo to go against the team in the basement I was supposed to lead for Ryker. I myself go to find Ryker and take him out before he can replay anything. You handle the main corridors and my other three teams can take out these three." I said pointing.

She nodded her head.

"Good job Kat." Caspian said

I chuckled and stood up.

"Your praise doesn't mean shit to me." I said and walked to my apartment.

I went into my closet and picked out the lightest clothes I had laying them out.

Next I picked out my weapons and opened the drawer I put Ryker's python in and put it next to my weapons.

I put my boots out just as Nova walked in.

"You called me." She said

"Yea I wanna take you somewhere." I said and grabbed her hand running down the hallway to our mothers weapons room.

I took her hand and let her open it.

"I had your print added since you know." I said

She walked in confused and sat down.

"Is this some kind of shrine?" She asked

I chuckled and sat on the table.

"No. This was her weapons room. Caspian and Mom were leaders together." I said jumping off the table to open all the cabinets and drawers.

We spent two and a half hours talking about everything in there.

"We should probably go rest now." I said

She nodded her head and kissed my cheek walking out.

I walked back to my apartment and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

NEXT DAY

I woke up to my phone buzzing.

Ryker- Two hours

I rolled over and slept for another thirty minutes.

When I finally got up I brushed my teeth and got dressed skipping breakfast.
