^This the dress that she wears ^

(Pidge POV)

I was in my room deciding on what to wear. I pulled out a light green dress and put it on. It was a sun dress. I put on a matching floppy sun hat. I then put on light makeup. I don't normally wear makeup, but today was special. I brushed my long hair. It has grown quickly (I cut it all off in 8th grade.)

My phone buzzed and I quickly answered it. "Hello?" I said into the speaker. "Hey, baby. I'm on my way. Are you ready?" It was Keith. "Yep! I'll be right out!" I hung up the phone and put it into a little purse. I put money and lipgloss into it as well. I then rushed to find my shoes: light green sandals each decorated with a bright pink flower on the top.

Just then the door bell rang. I ran down stairs quickly. "Bye Matt! I'll see you later!" He said something back but I couldn't hear what it was.

I rushed out to meet Keith in his motorcycle. He handed me a helmet and put my floppy sun hat under the seat. He then grabbed my hand and kissed it. "You ready?" He asked with a sparkle in his eye. I smirked, "When am I not ready?" I ask him. He laughs and we hop onto his bike.

We set off to our destination. The beach. It was beautiful right now. Summer break and the a cool breeze blowing against us. I sighed and leaned into my wonderful boyfriend. He looked down at me and pecked me on the forehead. I smiled happily and we walked for a while longer. We stopped for ice cream. We had time before the sun went down. I got strawberry and he got pistachio. We picked a stop to sit at the beach. I felt the hot sand between my toes as the ocean rose up enough to wash the sand away, bringing new, wet sand in the process. We ate our ice cream then talked for a while. We went back to Keith's motorcycle and grabbed our beach-towel. I then went to find a spot to set up while he grabbed a few other things. I picked a spot that I knew the waves wouldn't come up to. Keith came back with a cooler and a cordless radio.

It took a while but the sun was starting to set and the breeze was getting cooler. Keith grabbed a drink out of the cooler and handed it to me. I thanked him and gulped it down. Now the sun was almost gone, and so were most of the people. We laidback against the blanket. And turned on the radio to an alternative music station.

Soon stars started to pop up against the sky. We stared up at them, gaping at all the beauty. "Isn't that one cancer?" Keith asked pointing up at a set of stars. "No. That one is Orion." I corrected him. "Cancer is over there." I pointed off to right if where he was looking. He chuckled softly.

"This is so nice! Thank you for doing this with me." I said resting my head on his chest. I could feel his heartbeat. "You know that I would do anything for you. And with you. We are a team now, remember that." He said. I looked down at the little promise ring in my finger. As he talked I felt comfort in the vibrations of his voice. I gripped onto his shirt tightly and looked back up at the stars. As I pointed out constellations Keith listened contently.

Soon I fell asleep. He carried me to the motorcycle and then woke me up. "Come on baby, lets get you home."

Once we got home it was already 2 am.
Keith texted his older brother, Shiro, to tell him that he wouldn't be home till tomorrow morning, and that he was staying with me tonight. Keith then tucked me into bed and went downstairs to sleep on the couch.

I don't know what time it was when I got up, but at some point I made my way to the couch and fell back to sleep curled up next to Keith.
