Harley's Hush

Chapter 4

As the cat left my head turned to the muscled man across from me. He wasn't so scary as the lights shined on em'. I walked closer to him as I threw a growl and my right hand flew towards him. But suddenly he punched me and I fell backwards as my head hit the carpet of the aisle and dust from underneath left me coughing.

"You see Harleen I borrowed a little bit of Banes titan to help me take on this persona. I see why he's addicted" he said as his laugh sent chills through my spine. He grabbed my mallet and broke it in half.

I kicked and punched him but he wouldn't fall. He grabbed me by the neck and threw me across the wall which left cracks and dents. I hurt my back badly. He then grabbed me by the neck again and pushed me up against the wall.

"I've won" he whispered in my ear then kissed me as I tried to push him away. He dropped me as I took my gun out pointing at him.

"What is your deal? What do you want?!? How do you know my name?!?"

"I know everything about you Harleen. Why...you know everything about me."

My face turned where was this heading too.

"Who are you?" I asked.

He started to undo the bandages as his smile was revealed. The scars. The red. The green. His hair. He started laughing maniacally. His eyes. His laugh.

I held my hand over my mouth as tears poured out. This was a shock. Your unbelievable! How? Why?

"Puddin"
I started to tear. Then I started to cry. Then I dropped the ground as another puff of dust appeared. My mascara and blush ran down my cheeks as I cried and through teary eyes I saw him smiling so evily.

"Why? WHY!?! Mistah J why put me through this dangerous mind game why! Puddin I thought you loved me!" I said as I wiped away my tears as more poured out into my hands.

"Love is a strong word. I only use it when I mean it Harley. Then again when ever do I use it? I don't even like the damn word!" He laughed as he grabbed me by my chin. "Pull yourself together Harley girl it was only a little game!" He laughed again then dropping me to the floor.

"A little game! I was so worried about you and I almost died a couple of times!!! Wait a minute you sent Deathstroke and Catwonan after me didn't you. You told him I was with Captain Boomerang and you told her I killed Batman!"

"But you didn't according to yourself" he laughed again as he approached the chapel door ready to leave me as I drowned In my own tears.

"I didn't! But why? Why would you do this to us puddin? To me?" I asked as I ran towards him but he shoved me back then closing the doors.

"Actually it's pretty funny Harley Girl if you haven't already realised. It's actually the opposite. How could you do this to Me?"
