Jonah helps me up and says
"Laina! Are you ok?"
"Y-yeah" i suddenly felt a pain in my knee
What?! I hurt my knee as well? How am I supposed to walk?
"Your knee is bleeding" he starts to pick me up bridal style but i stop him
"Jonah, what are you doing? Your performance is-"
"You're more important!" He picks me up and brings me outside where the wdw van is at
Did Jonah just said that I am important? I never heard anyone say that to me before
"Ok lets stop the bleeding on your knee and elbow" he says
"Why did you help me?" I ask him
"Cause you needed help, the other waiters were busy and you were already having a hard time. I couldn't just perform while i watch you cry in pain" he puts some ointment on my knee and elbow and then puts a bandage on it. After that he takes out some chipotle and sits next to me "you haven't eaten all night haven't you?"
"Thats not true" yeah, its not! Cause i haven't eaten for the past 2 days, well more like a day and like 15 hours
"Well, i guess I'll just give this to Jack" he puts it back to where he got them "so what made you volunteer here? You could've been partying there with us but choose to serve for the party?"
"I-i just....wanted to"
"That tone in your voice means your lying, did someone made you?"
"W-what? N-no.. i-"
"Who forced you into this?"
"Jonah no one-"
"They cant just force you, who did it?"
"Jonah! No one made me volunteer!" I start to feel like tearing up
"Hey hey, its ok you can trust me remember? Whats wrong?"
"I'm scared Jonah, i don't wanna say the truth cause the truth hurts" thats when i start to break down in tears
"Its ok Laina, I'm here" he pulls me in closer and gives me a tight hug, wow! His hugs are the best "I'll always be here to protect you and always remember that you will never be alone ever again cause I'm here"
"Jonah I-" i suddenly felt a sharp pain in my stomach and a lot of pain in my head
"LAINA! Are you ok?"
I started breathing heavily then everything went black
Jonah's POV
"Laina! Laina!" She passed out
"Jonah! What happened" the whole crew came running towards me, including this girl that was with Laina the whole party "she passed out and her hand is cold!"
"I know a hospital near by!" The girl says
We all rushed into the van and raced to the hospital
When we got there they immediately rushed her to the emergency room
"Babe, we should go. They can stay here and wait for Laina, even Sarah here can stay. You still have a show tomorrow" Karla says
"Laina is more important, I'm not leaving until i find out whats going on"
The doctor comes out of the room and looks at us with a worried look
"Doc, is she gonna be ok?!" I ask
"Yes she will but i have a question, has she been eating?"
"Yes, she told me she has eaten tonight"
"Tonight?!" ~Sarah "she didn't eat a single bite, she told me that she has already eaten before you guys left"
"What? No way!" ~Candice "Laina was helping me with my hair the whole time before we left, i tried to offer her the half of my burrito but she said that she has eaten before she helped me"
"But Laina was with me the whole day shopping before she helped you" ~Jazmin "we stopped by at Wendy's but she didn't get anything, she said she already had a very heavy breakfast"
"Ok! I was the one who woke up first and I just saw Laina the whole time staring at the window and not eat" ~Daniel
"So Laina didn't eat all day?" I ask
"Yesterday too i guess" ~Zach "she told me that she already eaten dinner but i never saw her move from the van"
"When we ate at chipotle, she was also just in the van" ~jazmin
"So Laina hasn't eaten for the past 2 days?"
"Seems like it" the doctor replies "she should be free to go after the medicine is done but please after she gets discharge, take care of her well. Laina Connor, her name always ring in my head. Before i moved i worked at the hospital there in LA and Laina has always been my patient, she would be rushed there by her neighbors, the people who work at her apartment and sometimes random people. Every time she comes i always see a fresh cut on her risk, a huge amount of intake of pills and many more. It was a hard thing to leave cause i didn't know that Laina will be ok or not but now that she found friends like you all, i rely on all of you to help her. Excuse me!" The doctor leaves
"Laina is a suicidal girl?!" ~Candice
"How come you didn't tell us?" ~Jazmin
"Laina never really talked about her depression, she has a huge case of this and whenever bad happens in her life, she immedietly becomes.........even more suicidal"
