New Shit

It’s been a few days since Ronnie had me go to his ‘office’. I haven’t spoken to him since then. Something keeps telling me to march right up to his office, but then what? I know I’ll just coward away and run to my room, slamming my door behind me and curl up in a ball and cry myself to sleep for how stupid I am. Right before I could think anymore, I hear a bang on my door.

“House meeting, meet downstairs” and then they left. Great I guess I’ll be forced to see him. It’s not like I’ve been avoiding him… alright I have, I’m just confused, I’m supposed to hate him right? It seemed like forever as I finally got out of bed and headed towards downstairs. Since it was a household meeting, I’m guessing it’s held in the pack room. Yeah we have a pack room here, deal with it. And trust me I was confused too when I first heard of it, but you get used to it after a while.

When I walked inside the room, everyone was already in—well except for some Luna’s and of course their young ones.

“The race starts soon and I just want to make sure our arrangements are fine, Lone, you’re new here, so of course you’ll be confused, but you’ll get the hang of it, I’ll have Derek explain to you later once we’re done here.” Ronnie’s voice rang out as soon as I sat down at one of the couches in the room.

“Ryan, you have the alignment figured out right?” he looked over to his beta. “Of course, it wasn’t hard putting Lone in, I just moved her right between Jacky and Derek” he leaned forward. “Great, not much of a change, now, and the food and entertainment for the people waiting and after we’re done?” he looked over at Jacky this time. “All taken care of, meats and all sorts” he slouched a bit. “Good” he mumbled before getting to the next subject.

“Lone, you shift right?” Everyone all at once moved their heads towards me. “This doesn’t involve shifting right?” I felt my heart began to speed up a bit. “Since you’re a participant, yes it deals with you shifting, in a matter of fact, we’re all shifting” he said it in a matter-of-fact tone. Great, I have to shift. “You haven’t answered, you’ve shifted before, correct?” he seemed to get a little impatient. “Yeah…” If only you can take back words, this would be the exact moment for that. “Great” he smiled before letting us all leave.

Well you see I have shifted, it’s just that I’ve never shifted in front of anyone before. And besides, I’m a white wolf. I know, you might be thinking ‘so? Why does that matter?’ well white wolf aren’t common. By that, I mean they were hunted and killed off several decades back. Apparently someone really wasn’t fond of their white coats, especially since it’s told that we’re one of the most deadly of our kind, I wouldn’t know. I only shift when necessary.

“So Lone, want me to explain now or do you want to wait till later?” Derek popped out of no where. “Later, maybe after dinner” I mumbled trying to get myself to a more isolated area.

Apology for not updating, I didn’t know what to write about, hence this filler.
