Rowan's P.O.V.
"Really? She really wants to try again? Friends, yeah, friends, I get it. But this could lead to something more! Right, right, I won't get ahead of myself. Okay thanks. Yeah, the diner in two hours. I got it. See you there. Okay, okay, bye." I hung up with Phoenix. Shyloh wanted to be together again. Friends, for now. But it was great news for me all the same. Phoenix told me how they broke up and he's trying to make it work between Shyloh and I. I was more than ready for this.
Shyloh's P.O.V.
I was waiting at the diner with Phoenix. I was so nervous after what happened the other night with Rowan. Rowan then waltzed through the door and sat down across from me. "Hey Shyloh. Hey Phoenix." Phoenix got up. "I'll leave you too alone to chat it up abit." He smiled deviously and sauntered off to the counter. "So how are you Shyloh?" I thought a moment. How was I? I was fine. Excited if you will. "I'm great. You?" He nodded. "Simply fantastic." He grinned. I always had loved Rowan's smile. I've missed it dearly."So what do you say? Let's give it another shot. Our friendship. Just like old times. We can put the past behind us and move on. Let's give it another try." Rowan said hopefully. "I would really like that Rowan. I would like that alot." We smiled at each other and talked like nothing had ever happened.
Just like old times.
