Shyloh's P.O.V.

"Hey Rowan, do you wanna hang out today?" I asked sweetly. I heard him sigh on the other side of the phone. "Really? With you? Fineeee." He laughed. "I'm just kidding, Shy. Of course I'll hang out with you today. Wanna go see a movie?" "Sure! See ya at 6. We're gonna watch The Fault In Our Stars." He groaned and i just laughed. "See ya later Ro." "See ya later Shy."

*After the movie*

Rowan's P.O.V.

Shyloh laughed. "C'mon Rowan the movie wasn't that horrible." I shook my head. "You're right, it was fucking awful." She laughed even harder. We were sitting downn on the sofa at her house. I was about to insult the movie again when Shyloh's dad walked in. "Hey Ashley! Long time no see!" I stood up. He looked shocked. "Uh, hey Rowan. I didn't realise that you and Shyloh were friends again." Shyloh stood up. "Yeah Daddy, we're friends again. We made up. Its a whole long ass story I'll tell you another time but Rowan and I are kinda hanging out so could you like just go in the other room or something." He nodded. I spoke up. "Nah, it's fine. I gotta be going anyway." Her face fell. "Oh, okay. Well I'll walk you out then. Be right back Dad." Ashley nodded.

Shyloh walked out with me to my car. I hugged her. "Thanks for asking me to hanng tonight. I had fun." She smiled. "Me too Rowan." I smiled back.

I don't really know if it was that dumb movie that made my emotions crazy that night or the fact that I couldn't hide my feelings any more but either way it just felt right.

I leaned down and kissed Shyloh softly.
