College years

Chapter 1

My name is Kathrynn but people call me Kat for short. I have long wavy Brown hair and hazel eyes. I'm 18 years old and I just graduated from high school. I have moved around a lot throughout the years so I am ready to just settle down somewhere and start college.

Kat's POV

I am leaving for college in a couple days an I am so excited to finally go somewhere and live there for at least four years. I bet you guys are wondering what college I want to go to, well it took me a while and I finally decided on Appalachian State which is in North Carolina.

*FLASHBACK*

"Hey honey," my mom said.

"Hey," I responded rubbing my eyes trying to wake up.

"Have you decided where you want to go yet,"

"I think so, I think I want to attend ASU(Appalachain State University)."

"Great, good choice sweetie."

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I sat down at the kitchen table and had some breakfast before I had to go back up to my room and finish packing some of my room. It was silent so I decided to break it.

"So when are you and dad going to drop me off at school?"

"Well registration is next Wednesday so we will probably leave Monday."

"Okay."

The reason we are leaving Monday is because registration starts at 8:00 in the morning and then orientation is at 9:00 in the morning. and we live in Missouri right now so it's going to take us about two days to get there. Oh and I forgot to mention today is Friday.

*Friday afternoon*

My parents left so I decided to have a girls day with my friends since we were going to college soon. I ended up texting Lily and Emily in a group text to see if they wanted to hang out today and do something.

Me: Hey guys. Do you want to come over today and do something?

Lily: Would love too, be over in 20.

Emily: Me too. Can't wait to see you guys soon:)

Me: Great. See you soon!:)

While I was waiting for them I decided to sit on the couch an watch TV till they got here.

*20 minutes later*

DING DONG

I got up and ran to the door, I was surprised that 20 minutes have already gone by. I opened the door and there was Lily and Emily smiling. I let them come in and I shut the door behind Emily.

" Oh my gosh, you guys are finally here so what do you want to do," I asked.

"Um... do you want to go get out nails done," Lily suggested

"Sure"

We got in my car and we headed to the nail place. We finally arrived and we walked in and started looking for our colors. Lily ended up with a French manicure, which looked really good afterwards, Emily ended up with straight purple and I ended up with blue gels. We didn't want to go back to my house yet so we decided to go do some shopping surprisingly. We got to the mall and we didn't know where to start.

Lily 's POV

We arrived at the mall and none of us knew where to go.

"Where should we go," I asked.

"I guess we could go to Forever 21," Emily said.

"That sounds good to me too," Kat said.

We walked into Forever 21 and by the end we all had 2-4 bags in our hand. We hit some other stores as well and by the time we were done we were getting thirsty and we decided to go and get a drink from Starbucks. We grabbed our coffee and got back in the car and started back towards Kat's house. When we got there we saw her parents car and we realized they got back too. we got out of the car and headed inside.

Kat's POV

"Hey girls how did you enjoy your afternoon," my mom asked when we walked in the door.

"It was a lot of fun," Lily and Emily replied to her in unison.

"Great. So what did you girls do."

"We went got our nails done and then we went shopping," I said

Emily's POV

After we finished talking to Kat's mom we sat down on the couch for a bit and watched some tv and then phone vibrated and I got a text from my mom.

Mom: Hey sweetie it's starting to get late. When are you coming home?

I asked Kat when she wanted us to leave and she came up with an even better idea.

" Instead, if you guys going home why don't you stay and we can a sleepover like we used to," Kat said.

"Yeah," Lily and I said in unison

After we asked Kat's mom if we could sleepover Lily and I texted our mom's to see if we could.

Me: Hey mom, Kat was wondering if Lily and I could sleepover at her house tonight?

Mom: Yes, come and get your stuff first.

Me: K

Lily 's POV

Emily and I pulled out our phones to see if we could stay over and sleep at Kat's tonight.

Me: Hey can I have a sleepover at Kat's?

Mom: Go ahead. But first come get your stuff.

Me: K. I'll be home in a bit to get it.

Kat's POV

They both could stay over, but first we had to go by their houses and get the clothes and other things they would need. I could already tell this was going to be the best sleepover we have ever had.
