Chapter 3

Kat's POV

*Monday Morning*

I woke up this morning and I got out of bed and checked the time it was 8:15. I got out of bed an headed straight to my closet. After about 15 minutes of trying to figure out what I wanted to wear I decided to wear a purple crop top and some denim blue jeans shorts. And I finally headed downstairs to go get some breakfast my mom had made one of my favorites chocolate chip pancakes with the help of my brother, Luke. Luke is older then me, he is 21 and he is home for another week, once I am gone.

"Good morning hun," my mom said as I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table.

"Morning," I said rubbing my eyes trying to wake up still.

"Morning crazy," Luke said to me as he sat down next to me.

"Morning, Luke,"

"Are you excited," my mom asked.

"A little, I am ready to settle down at one place for more than three years."

Sarah's POV (Kat's mom)

Kat is all packed up for college, we are leaving today, and don't get me wrong I'm sad, but she has a point I am happy that she will finally have a place where she can live for the next four years if not more.

"Luke are you all packed we are leaving here in thirty minutes. "

"Yes mom, I am ready to go," he said in annoyed tone.

"Kat, everything is in the car right?"

"Ya I believe we did that last night."

We finished breakfast and Luke and Kat went to go make sure they have everything they needed. I got up from the table and went over and took care of the dishes.

*30 minutes later*

Kat's POV

I am going to miss my mom an dad like crazy, but yet it's time for me to settle down. Oh did I mention my mom wants me to date, we will see about that. I was on my way out of my room to head upstairs to get in the car when my phone went off, it was a group text message between Lily, Emily, and I.

Lily: Hey guys. I'm going to miss you like crazy, I am headed off to Auburn.

Auburn was my second choice, if I didn't get into ASU.

Emily: I am going to miss you guys too. Leaving for JMU (James Madison University in VA)

Me: I am going to miss you guys the most. I am about to get in the car to start heading towards ASU. Well love you guys.

Lily: Love you too. :) <3

Emily: Love you the most:) <3

We got in the car because we had a good 12-16 hours in the car. I pulled out my phone and headphones to listen to music and the next thing I knew I was asleep.
