Let The Battle Begin: Team ACRO vs. Team CEM

Riley wakes up and gets ready for the battle. She heads to a tree and hides until Mercury shows up. "I hope I prove to them that Mercury is a bad person," Riley thought. The rest of Team ACRO get out of their beds half awake. "Wow, I feel much better than yesterday," Carter says. "So do I, did our symptoms clear?" Aubree asks. "I think mine did," Oliver replies. "I hope Riley's alright, she left like 2 hours before us. Didn't she say she'd call us if she arrived?" Carter asks. "Yeah she left a note by my bed this morning," Aubree replies. "Let's get ready so we're not rushing out of the door," Oliver interprets. They train quietly in their dorm, practicing some gymnastics moves, dodging attacks, and when to strike. "Use your semblance before your aura snaps," Aubree says, giving them a little warning. They get changed into their combat attire and pack up.

Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury awake, quickly getting ready to head outside. "Let's go let's go let's go! We're late!" Cinder exclaims pulling Mercury and Emerald out of their beds. "Geez calm down we're fine," Emerald says, rolling her eyes. "Just hurry up and get ready!" Cinder demands, rushing to get ready herself. Mercury loads up his boots and Emerald adds some bullets to her guns. They get outside and don't see Team ACRO anywhere. "Let's just wait," Cinder says. Riley calls Aubree and she picks up the phone. "Oh hey Riley! Mercury's outside?" "Yes he is, but he's with two other people," Riley whispers through the phone. "That's strange, we're on our way," Aubree replies. She hangs up and informs the others. They head outside a couple minutes later. They approach Mercury, Emerald, and Cinder.

"You've finally arrived," Mercury smiles. "Mercury?!" Aubree exclaims. "What's going on here?" Carter asks. "I'm glad you asked. I told them all about you when I left after leading you guys to the cafeteria. Oh and by the way, this is Cinder, and this is Emerald," Mercury replies, pointing to Cinder and Emerald. "What do you evil kids want from us?" Oliver asks. "We want you to join us. We want to see what you're capable of. If you win, depending if you beat us hard, you're coming with us," Cinder explains. "Well, we are going to beat you and not get taken," Aubree smiles, with confidence. "You're 4 healers, with a poor, poor curse, that you can't speak for a couple of months. And oh, your parents, they died. Oh, I am so so so sorry for your loss," Cinder says, being a little sarcastic. "WHAT?! HOW'D YOU KNOW ALL OF THIS?!" Carter yells, getting angry. Aubree and Oliver hold him back. "Easy of course. There's a computer lab. I researched for a long time gathering all of this unique information," Cinder replies. "Enough chatter. Let's get started," Emerald says, interrupting the conversation. "Bring it on. And good luck, you're gonna need it," Mercury says. They get in their positions: Aubree vs. Cinder (water against fire) Carter vs. Mercury (most natural; kicks and punches) Oliver vs. Emerald (most natural; two of something).

{Carter vs. Mercury}

Mercury unleashes a small attack as Carter uses his agility to dodge the attack. He gets anxious right at the start, thinks about going down hard. Mercury tries the attack again, Carter dodges it and in the smoke, he punches and kicks Mercury down, securing the first hit. Mercury strikes Carter down with a devastating kick to the chest. Carter falls down hard, getting up only to know Mercury hits him again. "Carter's getting beat to the bone!" Riley thought. Carter gets up again and hits Mercury down. Riley shoots her stun-sniper rifle at Mercury. Mercury is unable to move and Carter keeps punching him. "What?! How?!" Mercury exclaims, stuck. The stun wears off a couple seconds later, and Mercury activates his semblance. Carter starts off strong, dodging some of the tornadoes from Mercury's boots. Eventually, the tornadoes multiply and Carter can't do anything about it. He gets hit down hard, and his aura snaps after Mercury kicks him down after the blow. Carter screams and Mercury keeps beating him up. Carter gets knocked out a couple minutes later, and Riley quickly stuns Mercury again and wraps him in her vine grappling hook. "What the heck?!" Mercury exclaims. Riley scratches Mercury up a ton and his aura snaps. Riley gives him a kick to the chest and Mercury gets knocked out in the end. Cinder and Emerald don't pay attention to him unconscious. Riley pulls Carter up to the tree and tries everything she can. "Please, please Carter!" Riley thought as she had nothing to do. With Carter weakening him down slightly and Riley's stun-sniper rifle and scratching him, they defeat Mercury. Riley hides up in the tree again and she used her vine grappling hook to get back up. "Carter.. please!" Riley thought as she started getting tears in her eyes. A weird power comes off from her hands. "Huh?! What's happening?" Riley exclaims. "It's like I'm healing him. No, wait! I'm restoring his aura!" Riley keeps her hands there and she restores Carter's aura. He wakes up a couple minutes later. "Huh? What happened? Wait, Riley?!" Carter exclaims. "Oh my god you're okay!" Riley says. Riley explains what happened and that she got Mercury out of the way. "I'll stay up here in this tree. You're in no condition to fight, your aura snapped and you need to recover," Riley says. Carter dozes off to sleep and Riley sits quietly up in her tree, ready for when someone else is in trouble.
