Hi. I'm Selene Night, *sarcastic* and welcome to my messed up life.
I have silvery eyes, though some people may or may not say they're grey. I actually found out at an eye appointment that they're both. I have long, straight, black hair, and my skin is pale.

But today, I'll have to survive heck. (I'm sorry, I'm just against swearing..) That's right, I need to go to school.

*Time Skip, since I'm such a flop.*

I walk into school to find that my only friend in this dream-crusher, Will Solace, is standing at my locker. I walk over to him say "Ugh." He looks at me, then smiles. "Don't worry, Selene. You'll be out of here before you know it!" He's so cheerful sometimes. But, it never fails to lighten up my day.
I glare at him. "Easy for you to say, mister Straight-A's."

He fakes heartbreak, which makes my smile a little, not enough that he can see, though. "How could you say such things! I got 1 B+ in our last math assignment! My heart. It's being torn in half! Goodby cruel world!" And with that, he sank down the lockers and onto the floor, where he faked death.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, because my voice totally can do that to people." I said with a hint of aggressiveness in my tone, just to make him get up.

It worked.

He shot straight up, and replied "It's hard for me not to be scared of that voice, and you know it!" he pouted. I crossed my arms. "What makes you say that?" I said.
"1) Don't go all sassy on me, and 2) Your outfit helps." He says matter-of-factly.

I look down at my outfit. I had on my usual: my Black Veil Brides shirt, black skinny jeans, black combat boots, black leather jacket, and black beanie. "And they call me Emo." I say shaking my head.
This of corse, makes him crack up, since I am actually Emo.

Just then, the 5-minute bell rang. We looked at each other for a second or two, totally still, then went into complete and utter chaos. I quickly got my books out of my bag and shoved the things I didn't need into my locker while Will frantically waited for me. Then we dashed down the halls for our Homeroom class, ignoring the teachers' protests.

Once we took our seats, we just talked as normal, except for the fact that we couldn't look each other in the eyes without laughing, we were covered in so much sweat. (There's a little mental image you don't want in your head!)

That's when our teacher Mrs. Cohen walked in to start class. I fortunately have ADHD, which gives me an excuse for not paying attention. I looked over at Will, who was drawing in his notebook. I leaned in ever so slightly too get a better look. They were pictures of the same thing: a man in all black. He had a plain black shirt, black jeans, a black aviators jacket, and what looked like a.... sword? He was wearing black shoes, too, and a black skull ring. His hair was black too, the same with his onyx eyes. I also noticed that Will was drawing hearts around the portraits.

I then made the mistake of leaning in to much, so he noticed what I was doing. He quickly covered the notebook pages with his arms and blushed, looking at me. I gave him an apologetic grin, and he smiled a little bit back in my direction. I took that as a sign that he forgave me, so I leaned back in my chair, leaving it be for now.

*Time Skip, 'cause I'm like that.*

I was walking along the halls with Will during lunch again. It was kind of our little routine. I'd skip lunch and he'd hunt me down. Then we would just walk along until the bell rang. I looked down, and realized that he still had his notebook with him, glancing at it fondly every now and then.

Suddenly, Will's phone rang, startling us both with the fact it was piercing the tranquility. He got got it out real fast and held it up to his ear, clicking the answer button on the screen. I could only hear one half of the conversation, but I could tell all the same that it was good news to him.
