I was back on the spaceship. I had the same fear rush through me, as the last time I took this mysterious journey through the night. No, not the night, I realized, but through the galaxy. The room I was in, if you could call it a room, had no door, and was about roughly the size of a walk in closet, and was cylinder shaped. The only thing it contained, was a crate about the size of a giant yoga ball. Which was the only thing keeping me hidden from whatever thing patrolled outside.
As I was getting ready to try and take the thing by surprise, I heard voices. The voices spoke in a language that sounded as if the creatures were underwater. Which didn't make any sense, since I could see outside the room, and there wasn't any water outside. Another thing that probably confused me even more (if that were possible), was the fact that, I heard voices, but I didn't hear footsteps. I listened in shocked silence as I heard something that definitely came out on top for the most perplexing thing so far. Which was what I did hear, the sound of wings. Not bird wings, but propeller wings, like the ones that helicopters use. Only these wings, sounded like a water filter, as if they were submerged.
But I didn't have long to wonder about what was making that noise, because the thing making it was getting nearer, and so were the voices. In desperation, I did the most stupid thing ever, I scrambled from my hiding spot, and toward the window. I looked for a possible mean of breaking it, but that obviously wasn't going to happen. I looked out it, in hope of seeing a way of escape. The only thing I saw however, was a blur of blue and purple, followed by a flash of red, and the next thing I knew, I was on the floor, on the verge of unconsciousness, with a slimy tentacle dragging me away from the window. My last thoughts before I blacked out were, "Way to go, Skylar. You've failed yet again."
