Emily and Peter stood outside of Liz Allens house. The music could be heard from a mile away, the house was basically vibrating.
"Emily- I-I dont think this is a good idea." Peter mumbled, glancing towards Emily. Emily scoffed and shook her head. "It will take your mind off of MJ, plus you need it." Emily jogged up the front steps, Peter following.
Emily opened the door, screams and music filling there ears. Emily glanced at Peter, his face was pale. "Oh come on Parker, it wont be that bad."
She stepped in, pushing her way through the crowd. Maybe this was a bad idea. Everywhere you look kids were throwing up, or making out.
She made her way towards the kitchen, the only quite place in the house other than upstairs.
She turned around and Peter was right behind her, Like always. "Fun right?" She said, lying to both Peter and herself.
"I-I mean I guess." He mumbled looking around. Emily rocked on her feet, looking for something to do. She noticed the kitchen counter was full of liquor. She grinned ear to ear and grabbed a solo cup, filling it with vodka.
She wanted to make Peter happy again, he was so distracted with MJ and their recent breakup. She figured this was the best solution.
She shoved the cup in Peters hands.
He furrowed his brows and sniffed the cup, and then cringed. "What is this?"
"Just drink it you chump." She winked. Peter took a deep breath and took a sip. "Oh my god this awful!" His eyes got big.
"You'll get use to the taste." She waved him off. Peter took another sip, then another, and another.
Emily went to go dance, expecting Peter would follow her. She turned around with a grin on her face, Peter wasn't there. Her grin slowly faded "Peter!?" She yelled over the music.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit." She mumbled, pushing her way through the crowd. She wounded up in the backyard.
She squinted her eyes in the darkness, she then noticed somebody was laying on the ground. "For heavens sake." She whispered, walking off the porch.
"Pete, what are you doing?" She sighed, as she approached him. He still had the red solo cup in his hand.
He patted the ground. "The grass is nice."
Emily stood there for a second, waiting to see if he was serious.. He was. She rolled her eyes and laid down on the wet grass.
"Look at the stars, they shine for us." He giggled. Emily let out a shaky sigh. "Peter, you're drunk. This was a bad idea lets get you home." She was about to get up, but Peter grabbed her wrist. "Yes, I am drunk. And you're beautiful. Tomorrow morning I will be sober, and you will still be beautiful."
He sat up with me, with a smile on his face. "Pete, you're just heartbroken you don't like me." I whispered looking up at him.
He giggled and shook his head. "Dont ever say that again." And before I knew it, he started to lean it.. And I did too. Our lips connected and immanently I knew.. He was being honest.
