I stepped onto the steps of the school bus. I felt my twin sister Taylor behind me. My hands and my jaw were shaking. The first day of school is always the scariest.
I took my seat in the first row where no one sits, this way I can be scared to myself. I watched Taylor go to the back with her friends. The bus doors closed and the bus started to move. The noise level on the bus is unbelievable. I could hear screaming, singing and laughing. My ears were ringing, the noise gets to me, it bothers me.
After about half an hour the bus came to a stop. I looked out my window and saw the school. The high school was huge. Not anything like my elementary school. A lot more people. A lot more friends.
I stood up thanked the bus driver and walked down the steps. As scary as it was I kept walking to the front of the school. I looked behind me to make sure that Taylor was there. She was talking to her friends, looking very excited for high school.
I walked to the front doors and walked in. I walked down the halls and to my locker. It was thin and red. I could feel people staring at me. I looked to my left and saw someone walking up to me. I started to shake. I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. They walked closer and when they got to me they stood in front of me.
