I thought it was over

Chapter 3

I woke up in a small room with a lot of sunlight coming from the window. I was lieing on a bed. I sat up and looked around. It had a fridge, a counter, and a bed.
"She's awake!!" I heard a voice from another room say. Two people came running in. One lady and one man came in the room and huddled around me.
"Jessica, you were out for quite a while it appears that you hit your head on a locker and blacked out for a few hours. There was a giant cut on your head. we talked to your parents and they told us to put staples rather than stitches. Now there are 7 staples in your head." The man said.
"You have to skip the next week of school in order to heal properly." The lady quickly added. I nodded.

"Where's Taylor?" My lips managed to spit out.
"She's in class. we will page her." The lady said.

The P.A then announced: "Will Taylor Livingsteene please report to the nurses office. Taylor Livingsteene. "

"we had paramedics come in to give you the staples." The man quietly spoke.

It had been over an hour and Taylor didn't show up.
"They pages her like 2 hours ago." Said the lady nurse. My head was already pounding and now my heart was. Where was she? Did Nicholas do something to her too?

"I'll call the office and tell them. Maybe they can get her teacher to see where she is. and get teachers to search the school." The lady nurse said picking up the phone.

"Hi, Taylor Livingsteene still didn't come to the office. can you ask her teacher if she's there? And tell some teachers to search the school. Thank you so much." The lady spoke into the phone. She hung up the phone.

About half an hour later the nurses phone rang.
"Hello?" the lady answered. I could barely make out the voice on the phone. I just understood the nurse.
"Oh my bring her in." The nurse said in shock.

"WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SISTER?"
the nurse looked at me with a very shocked and sad look at the same time.
