Special Day.

Apparently Sante told Uki about the surprise date before we even talked about it. I wasn't mad though. I was probably gonna say yes either way. The way she touched me in class just had me hooked on a feeling all day. I couldn't even focus and do my work. Thankfully school ended before I did something drastic. Walking out, I was followed by Sante.

“So?” He questioned. I guess he was talking about Uki.

“Nothing.” I figured if I denied it he wouldn't push me. Sadly, I was wrong.

“Come on,” He whined. “I saw the way you looked at her.”

“What? I can't look at her?”

“It was the way you did it. Something sparked, didn't it?”

“No!” I am such a terrible liar.

“You say that now but you're going on a date with her.” I blushed at his comment. It was something I always wanted to do. I looked away from him and kept walking.

“Which means..” He continued. “You need a beautiful dress!”

“Like what I wear is gonna impress her.” I doubted it. I figured Uki was one for those "loose" girls.

“It will if you look sexy! I know the perfect outfit!”

“Which is?”

Sante was rummaging through his mother's closet. I watched, knowing that she'd probably have my head if I helped him. I'll just say he brought it to me. A few minutes he pulled out a black cut out dress that showed a little too much skin.

Beautiful but too much.

“Sante!”

“What?”

“It's showing too much!”

“That's the thing about it! We're making her want you and your sexiness!” He swung his arm over my shoulder and pulled me close.

“Think about it! You show up all sexy and glorious in this dress and she'll drop every girl in her book!” I did want Uki. Giving thought to it, I looked at him, smiling.

“Okay! You convinced me.” I said, slightly disappointed that I wasn't being stubborn.

“Yes! I knew I would!”

“So where are we going, Cupid?”

“I didn't think I would get this far. I honestly have no idea.”

“Are you serious? You get me excited and don't even know where we're supposed to meet?”

“I'm sorry!” I was about to yell at him until my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID. "Baby Uki 😍" I blushed and picked up the phone.

“Hello?”

“Hey, where are you?” Her voice was so satisfying in my ears. I almost forgot to speak.

“Libra?”

“Hm? Oh! You can pick me up from Sante's house. Where are we going?”

“It's a surprise, sweetheart. I wouldn't want to spoil it. Just wait and see.”

“You know I'm impatient, darling.”

“I'm not too far out. While you're waiting you could put on something...alluring.”

“Oh, I am. You're gonna wish you had me when you see it.” I heard her chuckle. She thought I was joking. She cleared her throat.

“We'll see, sweetheart.” *click*

Sante looked at me, beaming with a smile.

“Don't do that.”

“Do what?”

“That stupid smile. Just get me a towel.”

“Fine. You better find some heels to go with that outfit!”

*Uki's POV*

She was dressed top to bottom in silver and black. She looked so beautiful I just...wanted to drop every girl in my book. Now that I think about, Sante probably told her something like that to make her confident. I wasn't gonna let myself be nervous but I couldn't help it. When she got in the car she looked at me, her face lighting up. I hid my shyness.

“Where to?”

“Can't tell you.” I felt like I was practically drooling in front of her. I wiped the corners of my mouth hoping I wasn't. No girl, and I mean no girl, made me feel the way Libra did at this moment. Well...not this year. I started to question why I gave up on this so long ago. I was such a fool. I would've kissed her now if I wasn't driving. I saw the way she looked at me from the corner of my eye. I guess she was feeling the same. This date wasn't meaningless anymore.
