Suddenly I felt a dull pain on my head, I looked up to see that I had walked into a tall, grey tree.
I was looking around but in my heart I knew I was lost. That shell was making me crazy but now it made me lost too.
Feeling dejected, I slumped down under a luming tree and fell hot tears fall down my cheeks. Suddenly a low roar startled me. In fear, I tightened my toes readying myelf to attack whatever the monster was. Once I was centain there was no danger, I relaxed myself but as I did I heard soft sniffled behind my ear. At first I thought it was just me, but I looked up to discover shiny ends of a deer's antler.
The orange creature, was just inches away from my face. "Oh my God!" I screamed. It must have been my loud voice, but the deer started to run through the dense trees, casting it's orange glow all around. Frantically I chased the deer trying my best not to lose it. The deer jumped over viney roots gracefully and I followed stumbling after.
"Follow me Ji-Yoon ," words fell from the deer's tongue like sink with shock and awe in my eyes, I obeyed the mythical creature. The way it guided me I just knew it was rescuing me.
"How do you know my name?!" I begged the deer but she didn't speak again, so I followed obediently. We walked for what seemed like forever and ended up in a cleaning that looked exactly the same as the one I had set up camp this morning. The place where I found that dreaded shell. It was then that it hit me that I have been missing all day and the Sun is setting now. "On how worried all my friends must be!" As I walked further into the cleaning, the deer stood in the centre and began to fly. I looked closely and almost saw the deer smile. It began to spin wildly and just turned into a huge ball of orange light. It was so bright I covered my eyes. When I looked back the ball of light was gone and in its place was an opening, a portal actually.
A wide gasping hole showed glimpses of all shades of green, every kind of flower possible and about 100 faces staring right back into mine. I stumbled back, in shook or awe I don't know, and tripped over a couple of thick, tangled tree roots.
