I picked myself up and brushed the dirt off my combat trousers. A tear in the trousers exposed a trickle of crimson blood flowing down my knee. The portal seemed to pulsate, at if calling me to it. Carefully this time, I crept towards the faces. They blinked when I did and tilted their head to mirror mine.

The people didn't look threatening when I reached into the portal and entered their world. Rather they made noises that showed like they were telling me 'welcome'. The air in this new world was warm and I began to take off my scarf. It tangled in my boots and I tripped. "that's twice in one day!" I told myself off. The grass was interestingly soft between my fingers and seemed to sway as if they were alive. The grass rustled in front of me and I looked up to see the corner tips of black shoes. I looked up to see my helper. He had deep black eyes that  contrasted strongly with his pale skin. A cocked smile took up his beauty face, even though his concern for me was clear. He reached down further with his outstretched arm, urging me to take his hand, but the world had stopped; I couldn't look away from his eyes.

"Excuse me, miss", the words poured from his mouth like god but it broke my trance. I took his hand and he pulled me up with ease.

"Are you okay, miss?" He asked again. I told him I was fine and he smiled again.

The strange boy guided me and we began walking. Underneath, the ground felt spongy and soft. This was a whole different world, and the only thing that kept me calm was the magical creature with me.

Around him the air shimmered and the more I studied him the more false he looked. As if he didn't belong here. I realised I knew nothing about him.

"Where is this place?"  I timidly asked him. A strike of confusion flashed across his face. He questioned, "Have you no clue where you are ?" I shook my head in denial.

"How did you come to be here, then?"  With carefully thoughts I told him what happened since the morning. I remembered to tell him about the red shell, because I was sure he had no incention of stealing it from me.

The confusion on his face deepened and he even had hints of concern. He listened carefully until I had finished, his eyes only flickering when I described the spirit deer, but it settled quickly.

I couldn't understand his emotions; they were hard as stone.

"What is your name?" I finally asked him.

He turned to face me, his eyes soft once more and the corner of his lips turned once again into a sweet smile.

"Jungkook",  he simply replied.

Jungkook stopped and I almost crashed into him. "God! I need to be more careful!" I looked up to find something so grand I shimmered as though an lay wind passed us.
