An Invitation

"It was Friday night when it all happened. Every scream, the smell
of blood, the drops of blood. All I can see is red, and those horrifying
weird peo-"

"Son... we want to help you, but you have to tell us everything
that happened. Now from the start, what happened?" said
the policeman.

It was Friday at noon, and we were in school. My best friend Carol and I were part of this group chat called "The Space Gang." Basically there were only 8 members of this school, including me. The rest of the members were unknown. Since this group was open, everyone could join. So that evening we received this invitation to this strange carnival. It said it was at night, and it was free only during that night. We all agreed on going except for Cory. He said not to trust every invitation we receive on the chat, but as usual everyone thought he was exaggerating.
It was around 7:30pm, and we were at Sabrina's house. We all agreed on meeting there, because the house was kind of near the place. Actually it was one hour from the place. "Is Cory coming?", Sabrina asked. Erik said, "Yes, he texted me half an hour ago." About an hour passed when Cory arrived.

"Son look... I want you to tell me what happened on the
carnival, and if you noticed a strange behavior or just something
unusual."

"I'm trying... I'm telling you everything I-I know", said Max.

When we arrived at the carnival, we noticed there were not a lot of people. We walked around 10 minutes to find the entrance; the parking was pretty much far. The night was clear, and there was full moon. As we went through, I noticed these really odd kids. They were smiling without blinking, and staring at us. Their stare got chills all over me. "So what shall we do?", asked Carol. "We should go into that circus", pointed Mac. "I think we should grab something to eat, and then we go there", said Sabrina. We all agreed and bought some popcorn, candies, and some snacks. As we approached the entrance of the circus, I noticed this creepy clown staring at me. There I told Carol to take a picture of me with the clown. Carol didn't found her phone; she thought she must have forgotten it in the car. So she took it with mine.

After she took the photo, the clown started laughing in a really weird way. It was a laugh I've never heard on my life, I didn't like it. He kept looking at me while he walked away. My heart started to feel unsure of staying on that carnival.

We went in, and sat on benched. I asked Sabrina, Erik, Michael, and Rachael if they noticed something strange. They said no. Then I decided to ask Cory, because he was unsure of coming to the carnival. "Well, I noticed a few strange things on this carnival since the entrance. Those kids had their teeth rotten, and they never blinked. The cashier had his skin yellowish and like if his skin was melting. For what I think, we are on cannibal's hands, or some sort of." "But... how do you know? And if it's true, why didn't you say anything?" "I like investigating cases of disappearances, and conspiracies. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure until I saw that clown staring at you. That clown led me to all the clues. Now when the show start, I'm going to call the police, because who knows if they have hurt people."

After he told me that, carnival music started to play, and a man appeared on the center of the circus. Cory went outside to make the call. The man started presenting the circus, and asked for someone in the crowd to participate. "I will participate. Not like these chickens." , said this black hair girl. She sat on this chair, and some clown tied her on it. First, they all started to sing on this foreign language and dancing in a strange way.
