"Ezra, come here" Kanan said. He pulled the med kit out of a cabinet. Ezra continued sobbing. Kanan took out a long bandage.
"I'm so sorry if I hurt you, Ezra" Kanan said as he wrapped the bandage around Ezra's burnt eyes. Ezra continued to cry.
Ezra sobbed into his master's chest the entire way back. How would he continue his life as a Jedi if he can't see?! Kanan was also worrying the whole way; about Ahsoka.
He was so dumb and stupid. Ezra was right. Vader would end her. Kanan believed that Ahsokas death was on him.
After their brief conversation at the start of the journey, the journey home home was in complete silence, besides the sobs of the young teen.
Finally, they reached Atallon. Everyone was crowded around the phantom to welcome them home.
Hera was waiting outside, at the front of the crowd. She had missed them dearly. The door of the phantom opened and Hera was shocked by what she saw.
She saw Kanan with his hands on Ezra's shoulder, guiding him. Ezra eyes were covered by a thin white bandage. She could hear the teen sobbing.
She ran over to Ezra and gave him a hug. She knew he was in desperate need of one. "Ezra, dear. It's ok, love. I got you" she said. Ezra continued to cry.
Next she went to Kanan. He hugged her and Hera began to cry. Kanan comforted the Twi'lek the best he could.
Hera then went back to Ezra. "Do you want some help to your room, Ezra love" she asked. Ezra nodded. And so hera helped him to his room on the ghost.
Back at the phantom, Chopper closed the door. Rex's face fell. He had lost one of his bestest friends. He then felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Kanan.
"I'm so sorry Rex. It's all my fault. She insisted on fighting Vader. I should have made her come back with us. I'm so sorry" Kanan said.
Rex smiled a little. "I don't blame you for anything Kanan" he said. " She's quite a stubborn one"
Back on the ghost, Ezra sat on his bed, still sobbing quietly to himself. Hera sat beside him, cuddling him, and comforting him the best she could...
