The next few days were tough for Ezra, among the toughest he had ever faced. He hadn't left his room since Hera brought him the day he arrived back. Ezra couldn't face the world, not like this. The ship was silent without all the giggles and laughter from the young boy. Little did Ezra know, but this was affecting everyone.
Zeb had been sleeping on the floor of the common room so he wouldn't bother Ezra. Zeb felt so bad for the kid. No one deserved this. He was beginning to miss when the kid tried to annoy him. He also missed when the two of them would try get Chopper when Hera wasn't looking. Zeb smiled at this thought.
Sabine was taking the whole situation similar to Zeb. She felt like she lost her little brother. Ezra meant a lot to Sabine, he taught her lessons that she would keep throughout her life. Sabine missed when Ezra would come in and watch her paint, and keep her company when she carried out repairs. She even missed when Ezra tried to flirt with her. Those were good times.
Hera felt as though she had lost her youngest son. Ezra hadn't ate or slept in days. He just sat on his bed, sobbing quietly to himself. Hera tried to persuade the young teen several times to comeout, but he wouldn't. He just ended up locking the door. Hera was struggling to cope. Ezra was a huge part of the team, the family, and she was struggling without him.
Kanan also hadn't ate or slept in days. Day after day, Kanan just kneeled on the floor meditating. Hera had tried to persuade him also, but also to no avail. Kanan was lost without his student, his friend, his son. For days, Kanan had been trying to get through to Ezra through the force, but it wasn't working,
It was as if Ezra had shut himself off from the world, not wanting to be a part of existence anymore. Ezra felt so alone, as if it was just him left to face the world. But he couldn't face the world, he just couldn't.
Why you may ask?
Because Ezra lost something that he had always been the one to provide,
hope....
