How Did Love Become the Best? (Razzbowski love story)

Chapter 8

Nurse Lovato came in the room while I laid in bed, reading Marked. It's the first  book of one of my favorite book series; The House of Night. 

"Alright Miss Hyde time to check in to see how you are doing." She said. I placed the book down and sat up. She first checked my neck, then my wrists. When she took off the bandages, I took a good look at them. They look less angry than they did the last time I saw them. As she wrapped them back up, she said, " Well it won't be long til you won't need bandages. With even more good news, it seems you won't be here for any longer." Oh yay. She smiled. I smiled back.  As much as I want to get out of the hospital, I don't if it means leaving my family. Tears formed in my eyes but I pushed them away. The nurse left and once again I was alone. It wasn't long til Rhys came back. 

"Everything is now taken care of; the tickets, the passport, your fake ID." I chuckled a little. " It will be a smooth journey, I promise." When I didn't meet his eyes, he sigh and pulled me into a hug. "You'll see them again." I nodded and tears started falling. He pulled away and wiped my tears away with his thumb. " It will be okay, I promise." I smiled and he kissed my temple.

Just like the nurse said, it wasn't long until I was release. After a few more days, I was able to leave the hospital. I'm waiting in the lobby with Rhys, Lewis, and Officer Wolfe. We're waiting for everyone with the cars. It was decided that it would be best if we went straight to the airport. I yawned.

"Tired?" Lewis asked. I nodded. "Don't worry, you'll sleep on the plane."

"Here's the cars." Said Officer Wolfe. Okay, I thought, I can do this. Rhys helped me with my luggage. Once the luggage was placed in the back of one of the cars, I hoped in the one filled with my family. No one said anything the whole way. Once at the airport, we quietly walked in the airport. We walk to the section that we need to go to and sit on several benches. No one talked until the voice over the intercom notified our flight was ready to board. Slowly we stood up. I felt tears forming in my eyes again. I pushed them back and said my goodbyes. We went in for one last group hug. 

"I love you guys." I wrote as we pulled away. 
" We love you too."

Rhys and I walked with Ryan, Lewis, and Baz before we separated. We walked to  the gate and Rhys placed both luggages through the x-ray system. We went through the mental detector. We then went to the guy who checks the passport and tickets. Once clear, we board the plane. We found our seats and sat down. I have the window seat. The air hostess went over the safety procedures and it wasn't long til the plane took off. Rhys grabbed my hand and squeezed it. 

After about 14 hours flight, we finally landed in Scotland. We walked off the plane and Rhys grabbed all our luggage. We then walked out and got an Uber. After a while, we made it to Rhys' apartment.

"Well, home sweet home. " he says as he opened the door.
