Silence and a faint sound of a book page being turned was the only thing you can hear in the dead of the night, not even the boy about the age of 16 foot steps can be heard as he walked the dirt road at the park.
The blonde haired boy smiled a small smile as he read his book, he always loved reading, and he does it everyday unless he's at work in the morning.
The blonde haired teen doesn't go to school, reason, he doesn't exactly have parents to sign him up for high school or any school generally, he was self taught with everything he did, from cooking to learning. The teen despite himself is a really smart kid, he just doesn't know it because he taught himself, the boy's name? Well it's Naruto Uzumaki, he's intelligent, he's handsome, and very kind.
"Naruto don't you think it's about you went home? You do know she's going to kill you if your out any longer." A smooth soft voice said to Naruto who leisurely sat down at a bench were a street light lit over it.
"Don't worry Kyuubi my little darkness won't kill me, unless she wants to be alone, she won't kill me." Naruto said through thought with a carefree smile, "Stop saying Kyuubi, you know I hate it when you call me that, and so what she won't kill you now but who knows what the future holds?" Kyuubi said with a small sigh, Naruto chuckled inwardly before closing his eye's and entering his mindscape when he opened them again he was in a beautiful field of flowers and grass.
Naruto walked up to the beautiful woman with white hair dark golden eyes and nine tails.

"I'll stop calling you Kyuubi once you stop remaining me of Ophis every 5 minutes." Naruto said with a small laugh as he sat next to Kuruma in the open cage.
"I still worry, Ophis is stronger than both of us so I'm worried if she tries to kill you." Kurama said with a small huff, Naruto chuckled before looking at the beautiful field again.
"Kurama, nothing will happen to me as long as I live, ok?" Naruto asked while looking at Kurama with a small sad smile and furrowed eyebrows. Kurama held Naruto's stare for a long minute, before kissing his lips softly and pulled away with a sigh, "I'll try to get along with her, after all we never liked each other that much." Kurama said with a small smile on her face, Naruto smiled softly before sighing and glaring at his tenant, "You kissed me so your scent will be on me and she would be mad, didn't you." Naruto stated more then asked, Kurama looked away innocently.
Naruto gave her a blank stare, "You're anything but innocent so wipe that look from your face." Naruto said with a small smirk on his face, Kurama looked away blushing.
