   third P.O.V

   Camp Campbell the word itself made Max's skin crawl. He hated the place with all his heart but he finally admitted it was better than being with his parents. He shook off the thought and just waited for the but to come and pick him up. 'Why did it have to be so fucking cold today!'

It was true it is cold out today which makes waiting on a but outside kind of hard. Max stood there with a bland expression on his tan face. His aqua eyes averting their focus on the yellow school bus that was currently driving towards his stop. He suddenly got nervous because one:he was nervous to see his friends which might I add he hasn't seen in 5 years, and two: well he doesn't know about reason two. Max steps on the bus, a sweep of warm air hitting his freezing face. Max walks to the back where he spots a teal haired female. It's Niki. Her appearance changed a bit still red overalls but they were shorter and fit her well. She still had the yellow tee but it was kind of baggy so she tucked it in. Max looked around for the other male. He suddenly finds him in the seat behind Niki. 'Neil' He thought. His stomach got butterflies again. Cliché. Neil's appearance didn't really change. Yellow turtle neck, red pants, and poofy brown hair. Max plops down in the seat right in the middle of the two. (Like ya know how bus seats are uneven on both sides idk) He pulls an earbud out of Nikki's ear and snatches Neil's book from his hands. "Wow what book is this? Nerd 101?" Max asks.

     "H-Hey what do you think your do—" Neil stops himself and looks at the male who took his book. "MAX!!" Nikki practically screamed engulfing Max in a tight embrace.

      "I thought you weren't coming back to Camp Campbell" Neil said. Max pushed Nikki off of him and looked at him and replied, "yeah but I could only take so much of my parents." Max rolled his eyes. Max looked at Neil and Nikki and smiled. "I missed you guys." Max said and chuckled. The trio keeper talking and catching up on what they did during the school year. Max couldn't think of the last time he had a smile on his face. He was so excited to be back with his friends but didn't want to show it. When the bus pulled up to a very familiar dirt path then to a familiar camp Max instantly hated life as usual. The campers get off the bus and get their bag full of clothes and other daily needs. "HELLO CAMPERS WELCOME BACK!" Exclaimed an all to familiar chirpy voice.
