A goodbye to remember

Notion: this is a goodbye between Fred and You just before the war. Please let me know if you guys like these kind of chapters.

You ran as hard as you could up the stairs of the castle. You were trying to find the post where the  twins were stationed. When you almost decided to give up and you muttered under your breath "Fred freaking Weasley". A chuckle came from behind you. "Not my middle name, but I assume you are looking for me, Y/N?"
You twirled around on your tiptoes with a big grin plastered onto your face. But even though you were so happy to see him, you couldn't hold back a snarky remark. "Shut up, Freddie"
Fred smiled and took a few quick and large steps towards you. Now you had to look up to look him in his eyes. He had grown so much over the years that you had known him. Fred wasn't a boy anymore, he was a man. Fred pulled you to him and rested his head on yours. You laid your head against his chest.
"I love you, Y/n" it was no more than a whisper, but it was the first time he said that. You choked on your breath and made a weird gurgling sound which made Fred laugh.
"Shut up" you rolled your eyes as you pulled him down to kiss you. It was a wonderful kiss. Passionate and filled will love. It better was because maybe it would be your last.
When the two of you broke apart and you open your eyes to Fred smiling down upon you you say it too: "I love you".
You hug for a long time until George comes to say it is time to go and say goodbye for real.
"We will meet again. Tonight or even in fifty years. I will still love you just as much." Fred said.
"After all this years of knowing you. Fred has finally gone mushy." You smiled "and know that I will always love you too, my Fred Weasley." You stepped away from him with tears in my eyes. You could see that Fred was also close to crying himself. You grabbed his hand for the last time and held onto it for a second.
This is the love that You and Fred will hold onto forever. This is our First love and whatever happens, at least it was epic.
