Chapter 10

John POV

I was feeling worried about her right. She wasn't in their house up to this time. I know she's in pain. This all my fault, I was a fool because of that worthless thing. I was covered with my lust on that time. And I am attempting to stop but I can't. I am being hypnotized by her. I realize that Jeunice was in front of us watching dolefully while we kissing each other. I need to explain it to her.

Mang Emilio and Aling Elizabeth will get mad at me because I hurt Jeunice's feelings for unworthy reasons. I told them that I will return Jeunice here as safe. And my mom knew it already. She also gets angry at me, especially to Carrie. She warned her to don't try to recognize her presence towards my mom.

I search her everywhere. In the farm, in the meadow, in the river and even in the stream, there is no Jeunice I saw. It's already 6 o'clock in the evening. The last place that I am going to arrive is in the forest. I use my flashlight because it was too dark when I use my eyes only. I hear the sound of the murmurs of the living creatures surrounds me. I watched carefully with my footsteps as I go along in the dark forest. I shout her name already. But only I have the echo of mine. It was refracted to the total silence of the place. This time, I feel a bit of fright in me because of the dim presence of the surroundings. Only the luminous light of the moon will serve as the light of the forest. In the long trees, I search her everywhere. I am wanted to give up maybe she wasn't here. I am started to walk back to my car. As my flashlight was turned on the log near at the willow tree. I saw a girl sleeping in the open ground nearby the fish pond. At last, I found her. I lift her in my arms like a bride style. I recognize immediately her innocent face as her eyes get into swollen. I need to apologize to her for what happened.

I suddenly put Jeunice in her bedroom. I pitifully apologize to her parents about the matter that we had right now.

They feel worried about Jeunice this time but I suddenly relief as they gave me another chance to fix my messed that I've done and to explained to her clearly about that matter. I straightforward to our house to take a rest since I had to do a lot of things to search Jeunice everywhere. Carrie wasn't here because she already warned with my mom to don't go back here. My mom is on the farm earlier in this day to do some things until she knew that matter. She went here quickly and trying to fix it. I saw my mom made a coffee in the dining room.

"Finally, you're here," my mom said.

"I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to do that," I said pitifully.

"Don't say sorry at me, say that on the person that you've hurt"

"Mom please help me to do this. I can't do it on my own" I said. My voice started to crack.

"You must find a way to get Jeunice again. Be the man, son. I know, you can do it"

"Thanks, mom" then I hugged her.

Carrie POV

Since I already know her girlfriend and what is her name? Jeunice? Next week, I need to go back to America to fix the problems that I've had in my company. I'll give them a very long time to be happy. As of now, I will not here around maybe a year. Once I go back here, I will get him to her because John is already my property and no one will get him to me. Before I am going to leave, I will ruin first her life and her family. They are the farmers of Dawson's Farm. In other words, they are a slave. Oh, wait! I have a planned now. I tell Señor Eduard that he divested their property and drove them away. I know already that they are pests on the farm. How dare her to get John over me. I am one of the richest women in the world. Did she knew that? I can be able to purchase her life with my money. Well, wait for my sweet revenge. I smile devilishly.
