Annalise's P.O.V.

School ended and, to be completely honest, I was quite sad that it did so, but I will see everyone again tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.

"Anna!" I turned to see Shinwoo and Inkhan motioning me to come. "Yes?" I said, slightly tilting my head to the side while walking closer to them.

My action seemed to have had some effect on them, for they seemed incapable to speak.

'Did I accidentally use my mind control...?'

Taking the lead, Sui said with a giggle "Would you like to come with us at Rai's place?"

"Yeah! Seira and Regis will be there as well! ...So can you?" Yuna asked hopefully.

"I would love to," I trailed off with a sad smile "but my car has arrived and I believe that Amelia is waiting for me at home." I continued as I spotted my white car park in front of the school's gate.

Tracing my look, the children immediately took notice of the long white car that has just arrived and the man that was waiting with the door open.

"Woah! Is that your car?!" Shinwoo asked in disbelief.

"Yes." I plainly answered.

"It's a freaking limousine!" He continued to be a little child as he eyed the car, which now I know is called a 'limousine', with sparkles in his blue orbs.

"By the way," Yuna shyly said "who is Amelia?"

"Amelia Vallacount is my CEO and assistant. But I consider her more like family than employee." I smiled as I remembered the days when it was only me and her.

As the children seemed to be in a state of shock, I decided it was time to take my leave seeing that the presence of my car was attracting curious stares.

Entering, my driver closed the door whose window I rolled down. "I apologize for not being able to come with you. Maybe another time. I will see you tomorrow." I sent them a smile and with that I left the children with wide eyes.

Two hours and my homework for the week was done. It was not that hard to do.

Checking my phone, I noticed it was already time for dinner and, by the laughter noises I could hear, the girls were waiting for me.

Getting up from my desk chair, I left my room and went downstairs to find a very familiar sight.

The girls were fighting over food whose smell was very appealing.

Me sitting down apparently attracted everyone's attention as the sat in their respective seats in a proper manner.

Yet again, I giggled at their childish behavior. "Please, do not stop. I found it rather amusing." And so, I laughed out loud.

Looking at each other, the girls quickly joined me as we had a nice moment which brought back memories.

I stopped laughing, and so did they. Smiling, I said "Let us eat."

Dinner was over and I currently found myself on the small swing in my garden.

Raising to my feet, I walked aimlessly trough the flowers while carefully touching their soft petals.

"Lovely..." I muttered.

I started spinning and giggling as I remembered my day.

The children were amazing. So amusing and carefree. The school, the classes, everything was beautiful.

"Mistress." Amelia's voice made me come to my senses. Looking at her approvingly, she began speaking.

"I believe you already know that there is a threat in Korea that keeps on growing and making its way in other countries. The ones responsible for the chaos that has been occurring in the past years are members of a organization called 'The Union'. What do you suggest we do, Mistress?" Her face was filled with worry.

I, on the other hand, I could only see red in front of my eyes. My blood was boiling and my fists clenched as I heard that wretched name yet again.

"Leave me for now." I tried masking my anger but my voice left my throat bold and as sharp as a knife.

Sensing my aura, she bowed and quickly left, leaving me alone to boil in anger.

"Union. I will restore the peace that you chase to exist." My jaw was clenched. "Like in a game of chess, I will destroy your king."

~Time skip~

It took me a while to calm down and return to the living room. But there only worse news made their way to my ears.

"There are problems in Lukedonia. They seem to be under attack by the traitor family leaders..." Megumi said in a shaky voice.

Before they could come up with anything to say, my words cut trough the tension like a sword trough flesh. "Amelia. We shall go to Lukedonia. It has been quite the time since we last visited the Lord."

Their heads snapped in my direction. They all bowed as they realized I just gave a order.

"The others will give support from afar. Megumi, Rize, Chise and Kiroko; you will stay behind and make sure the humans don't find out about this. I'm sure that Lukedonia's barrier is weakened..." I muttered the last part.

Turning to Amelia and Jeriko, I said "Jeriko, you will go ahead and observe the fight and immediately report to me. You may leave from now." Nodding, she turned into shadows and left. "Amelia, you will personally escort me."

Bowing their heads, they said at the same time;

"Yes, Mistress."
