Third person's POV

Sighing, Amelia drowned her glass of scotch and, putting it down, she managed to crack it under the pressure.

Realising a deadly and dark aura, she took over the living room's lively atmosphere in an instant.

"If you don't shut up, I will personally kill you and make sure your existence will pass as imaginary." She threatened, cracking her knuckles.

Shivering in fear, they all sat down in a proper - ladylike - position on the couch. "Y-yes ma'am!"

Rubbing her templates, Amelia plopped herself down on an armchair and told their guests "Please sit."

Complying - more out of fear, they sat on the sofa opposite from the girls.

Silence. It was suffocating, but not for Amelia - she was enjoying her moments of peace. Too sad they didn't last.

"You!" Megumi sat up, pointing a finger at Seira, who was looking at the teal eyed girl in confusion. "And you!" She pointed, once again, in Regis' direction, making him flinch in surprise. "My database tells me you two are Seira J. Loyard and Regis K. Landegre, a clan leader and a next in line heir." She innocently smiled at the two shocked nobles.

"How do you know that?!" Regis exclaimed.

"Well, you see, I'm not quite human." As she said that, holographic monitors started floating around her. "I'm a high technology android!"

At the mention of the word 'android', Tao sat up from his chair and began circling the blue haired girl.

"Megumi!" Rize shouted. "You're not supposed to give information this freely!"

"Oh please! Like it's gonna hurt anyone!"

"Plus," Chise perked up, breaking the argument. "it's not like we're all humans."

Yet again silence dominated the living room.

"What do you mean 'not like we're all humans'?" Frankenstein suddenly asked.

"She means exactly what she said." Amelia retorted coldly.

"For example," Kiroko calmly said "I'm an Underworldy soul that Mistress took in her service long ago."

Their confused looks made Amelia sigh in desperation. "Let me explain." She sat up and went to the window, leaning with her back on it. "As Megumi said, either of us is entirely human. I guess we resemble you all in this matter." She said, looking at her guests. "As for what we are, that has a wider range and variety. Megumi is an android built by me that continues to adapt and rebuilt its original software. Kiroko is a wandering soul that Mistress made a contract with. Chise is a noble, more or less in her own way. Rize is a pureblood vampire - interesting, right? Jeriko is the walking embodiment of the shadows during the day. And, as for myself, I was cursed in my past with these dark and wicked powers."

Their faces told Amelia everything - they were beyond shocked, well, a few of them.

"I know you three," Megumi pointed to Tao, Takeo and M-21 with a smile "are enhanced humans created by the Union."

*collective gasp*

"Stop it. It would be a wonder how we wouldn't know of that Hell damned organization." Chise said in her usual silent tone.

Rize scoffed. "I think the person that hates the Union the most is Mistress."

"Her hate for them goes deep into her soul and past." Jeriko grimly stated.

It was again silent in the living room and questions could be smelled in the air.

"Aside from the holographic keyboards and monitors, what other functions do you have?" Tao eagerly asked Megumi.

"Many! Wanna see them?" The bubbly girl responded. "I have a whole laboratory full of inventions!"

"I'd love to!"

Ignoring the others, the duo walked in the direction of the elevator.

"I'm going to shoot something." Chise sat up after a while and walked to the same elevator, waiting for it to come back up. "Anyone want to join me?" In an instant, Takeo was next to her, saying. "I wouldn't mind."

Huffing, Rize turned to Kiroko asking "I want to slay down some training robots, care to join me?"

Shacking her head, the silver hair girl said "I'd rather pass."

"How 'bout you, wolf boy?" She asked M-21, who nodded a bit hesitantly.

A few moments passed, and by now Jeriko was braiding Seira's hair and Kiroko was telling Regis about the Underworld, leaving Amelia alone with Frankenstein.

"You know," Amelia began "my Mistress and your master go way back."

In curiosity and slight confusion, Frankenstein asked the pink haired female next to him "How so? *I didn't know about this.*"

"Honestly, I don't even know the details myself." She sighed. "All I know is that Mistress told me once she knew the Noblesse, which she used to visit until she made a contract with me." Looking out the window, Amelia's face turned to sadness.

"Why look so down?"

"Isn't it obvious?" She snapped. "Sorry, it's just that...she gave up on many things ever since she made contracts with all of us, yet she always smiles at us whenever we do something stupid." Amelia chuckled in a bittersweet tone. "I guess that's the problem about Mistress; she cares too much and she's too selfless."

Huffing, Frankenstein responded with a small smile "I guess our masters are alike in this matter."

"By the way, what do you think they're doing right now?" Amelia asked in curiosity and slight concern.

"Good question, Amelia."
