After breakfast, Maddie asked me to go play in the backyard withe her. She grabs the basketball and we shoot some hoops. "So you're a hooper?" I ask. "No. I just like to come out here and shoot." "Oh, okay." "But I really wanted to come out here to talk to you." She says. "Okay. About what?" "About my sister." "What about her?" "I just wanna make sure that you're a good guy and you won't hurt her." I walk up to her. "Listen. I really, really like your sister. I think I love her. She's been through so much, last thing I ever want to do is hurt her." "You promise." "I promise." I say then smile. "So how tall are you anyway." "6 foot 4." "Woah that's tall. I get you we're like the tallest kid in school." "Yeah just about." "How old are you?" "22" (changing his age from 23 to 22...just cause I can lol) "how many girlfriends have you had?" "Uhhhhhh" "if you have to think about it, then you've had too many." "You ask a lot of questions. How old are you?" "9" "what do you like to do for fun?" "Acting...well it's more of my job, but it's still fun." "Oh yeah...been in any TV shows or movies?" "Desperate Housewives." "I've heard of that show. Never watched it though. Maybe I'll have to watch it on Netflix or something." "Okay. But I have to warn you..it's kind of a chick flick kinda show." "Onnnnn second thought..." "Noooo. You already said you were gonna watch it." "Fine. I'll watch it. Just for you though." "Okay, who's ready to get served.." Demi says walking over to us. "Demi you suck at basketball." "Yeah but it sounded good saying that." "I don't wanna hurt your feelings, beside, you messed up a special moment that Madison and I were having." I say. "Oh oops." "Yeah. So leave." Maddie says. "Well that was rude. I didn't wanna play basketball with y'all anyway." "It's okay. We'll give her a pass this time Mad." "Okay." She says. "Awww babe. You just got bonus points for that." "When and where do I get to use these bonus points." "iiiiiii dunnnoooo" she says with a big smile. I wish the "right time" would come sooner.
