A couple hours later my phone starts ringing and it's Colin. "Hey.." I say answering the phone. "Hey babe..." "Did you just get out of camp?" "Yeah, I stayed a little later to lift. I just hopped out the shower...how was our day?" "It was good." "How'd it go in the studio." "It was good. Really good. Recorded all of my songs, and they're ready to be out on the album." "That's great baby...sooo when do I get to hear these songs." "Whenever I finish the entire album and get a rough cut of it, then we can listen to it together." "How long is that gonna take?" "I don't know. Only time will tell." "I guess. Making me wait is torture, and you still haven't sung for me." "I know babe. I know. I will. Bring your ass back to me, and maybe I'll sing for you." "You better..." "A little demanding there aren't you?" "Yeah...just a little. But seriously...since we started dating, I've bought every single song you have ever released on iTunes...I've heard the recording and I know it's even better in person. I want you to serenade the shit out of me. Put me in a trance." He says, and I laugh. "Okay. I'll making it happen." "Good. I'm looking forward to it...so what are you about to do now?" "Eat and watch TV till I fall asleep. You?" "Sleep. I'm physically tired. My body is just ready to go to sleep." "Well go to sleep baby. I'll talk to you tomorrow." I say. "I will...as soon as I tell you that I miss you and I love you." "I miss and love you more." "Before I let you go, what time is your flight tomorrow." "10 am." "Okay, I'll try to get up before then so I can talk to you before you take off." "Okay. Sounds good." "Alright. I love you. Good night." "Good night. I love you too." We hang up. A little later my dad brings my food in. I eat, and watch TV till I fall asleep. The next morning we're up early. I get ready, everything's already packed, we check out of the hotel and leave. We get to the airport, go through security and board the flight. I get a text. "Morning beautiful. Hope you have a safe flight. I love you.😘" "😘" I reply, and now back to LA.
