Nerve

As they backed out of Ravens garage Damien turned his head around to look back at Ravens house. When he did he say a young girl maybe 4 or 5? She had brown looking hair with green eyes. She looked like Ravens little sister. What was unsettling was that she was in shorts and a long t-shirt. But she was covered in black and blue bruises, and from what he could tell Raven had a few as well. They hadn't left her drive way yet as she was maneuvering around cars and cinder blocks. He tapped her shoulder and said: "Who's that?"  She spun her head around to see who he was pointing at and her mouth hit the ground and her face turned red with anger. "Oh fuck no. I'm going to kill that son of a bitch." She jumped off the four wheeler as fast as she could and ran up to her little sister. She looked at her face and whispered "Are you ok Celeste?" She nodded slowly and looked at her bare feet. Raven then swung the door open to find her no good drunk father. There he was leaning against the kitchen counter with a bottle of vodka in his hand. "Raven you little bitch your sister had to pay for something you did." She ran up to him and grabbed the bottle out of his hand. He reached for it but fell drunkenly to the floor passed out. After that Raven ran out side with the bottle in her hand and took a few swigs of it, she then poured it out in the grass. And threw the bottle under the porch. She grabbed her baby sister and walked next door she opened the door and yelled "Steph come watch Celeste while I'm out!" A distant "ok" could be heard and she set Celeste in the door way. "I'm so sorry Celeste he won't ever hurt you again." Celeste replied with "But you will get hurt sissy!" Frightened for her big sisters safety. "I'll be fine pretty girl. Be good for steph I'll be back soon." With those last few words Raven jogged back over to her fourwheeler with Damien seated on it and hoped back on. "Im sorry about that I have.....issues with my father." Damien just watched as this all played out and was curious as to what went on in that house. From what he could tell it was nothing good. "Its ok." She backed out the the driveway as fast as she could and took off down the road.
