CHAPTER 1- NERD

A man was killed by a person who was holding a gun . He was coming forward to kill his wife but she took her baby and started to run.She is continuously running , suddenly she was hit by a car . She was injured but she didn't stopped. She got up and took her baby girl and started running but the person who killed her husband appeared in her front pointing the gun towards her. "I can't let you and your husband destroy my dreams. I'll do anything to complete it, let it be killing you and your family or anyone."

With the sound of bullet , a girl who was sweating woke up. She looked at the clock , it was 6:28a.m. "Oh god! I'll be late today,I must hurry up,"she said.

She was a nerd . 'Nerd' this word describes her life. Most of the time in her surrounding people treated her like she was a soul who has been rejected by the god himself and is a lame duck to be around human. Fate was always cruel to her. She was an orphan . Later she was adopted by Mr and Mrs Hara . But when she was 15, they died in a car accident and she again became an orphan. She cried alot that night. It was very hard for her to get over that incident . They were not her original mother and father but we're the only one whom she loved and who loved her. However, she gradually came over it. The uncommon name of this uncommon girl was Phoenix.

I was late . However, I managed to reach the university on time. Normally, I am always early but today I was a bit late . So, there were many people in the class . I always try to be invisible but I guess today I don't have more options, I have to face them as usual. When I opened the door and entered the class a voice came," Guys! See who's here . Our stupid little penguin." And as usual I tried to ignore it and went to sit on my desk. I still remember the day when they named me ' Penguin'. It was my first day in university. I thought that now finally, I don't have to face any bullying and I'll have some friends too. But in the way to university I slipped and got hurt. I somehow managed to reach the university. In starting everything was going well but during break, my leg started to pain alot and I was not able to walk properly and when they saw me they named me 'Penguin'. I thought that my life is never going to be easy.

However, I spent 3 years successfully in this university and this is my last year. I am studying engineering and soon I'll be an engineer. The only thing I was able to properly was studying. I learnt music and painting in my childhood but was never good at it.

Suddenly, the door opened , everyone was quite as they thought that our teacher has arrived but it was a boy . I had never seen him in the university . Is he a transfer student? He is too good looking. He is too cute . OMG ! He is in my class. Wait a second , why I am thinking all this . I have never felt anything for anyone till now. And if I feel also nothing is going to happen as he'll not be my friend. Who would want me as a friend? I should focus on my studies.

The teacher entered the class. He asked him to introduce himself. He said," Hi, I am Jung Eric . I am a transfer student from Daegu. I'll work hard. If anyone wants to be my friend I am always available. My hobbies are singing, cycling,hiking and sometimes I do little painting. I also wrote a song which stole many girls' heart . I'll try to be good to you. Thank you ."

When he finished his introduction I was like , Omg! He is too cheesy but cute also. I don't like cheesy people but I guess this one is an exception. I am really getting attracted towards him but I don't think he would have noticed me. Why I am always invisible to everyone?

When I saw other's reaction around me , I found that not only me but all the girls in the class were feeling the same. So, I guess I don't have any chance. But if this will happen I will find myself lucky as he is too cute and hot. Oh ! Lets get back to studies.
