~Mona Lisa~

I walked along the corridor of TOXIN headquarters towards Talon's office, unsure of why I was being called to his office. Most times if I had a new mission, I would just get it from the Mission Operative, but this mission must be huge if I'm going to Talon's office. I knock on the door, and I hear Talon's voice telling me to come in, so I do. Once inside the office, I see not only Talon, but Paden, and I have to tell myself to keep calm. It was only a few days ago that we had our... encounter, and I'm not quite ready to face him yet. Also in the room was Scott, Chae-Won, and two of our newest assassin recruits, Sammy Howse and Marvin Mynatt. What is this about? The other five are already sitting, so I take my seat in between Chae-Won and Scott, both of which were glaring daggers at Paden. They knew what had gone down as I had told them the day after it happened.

"Glad you could join us, Agent Mona Lisa. I'm sure you are all wondering what we have gathered you here for, and the answer is simple. We have a huge mission that we have been entrusted with, and it'll take all six of you to make it work. Howse and Mynatt, this is your first mission, so you'd better listen to your command on this mission. Do I make myself clear?" Talon asks, and the two new assassins shake their head nervously. A huge mission? Who do we have to take out and where are we going? And who is the command? What the hell is happening?

"Who is the command?" Paden asks, totally expecting it to be him.

"Agent Mona Lisa will be taking command. Do not give me that look, Paden. You are an L6A, and she is an L9A. She outranks you. Mona Lisa, are you okay with taking command?"

"Yes, sir. Where is this mission taking place? Who is the target?" I ask, and Talon smiles.

"You five are going to the Underworld." I choke on my own spit, and Chae-Won pats me on the back and I cough and sputter trying to not die on my own spit. After a few moments, I can breathe again, and I look up at Talon.

"The Underworld? Who could we possibly...oh my Lord...we aren't...we aren't really..."

"Yes, Mona Lisa. Your target is Brendon Urie. However, they do not want you to harm his wife. Do not touch Sarah Urie unless you are taking her to safety, do you understand?" he says, and we all nod. "Good. Chae-Won, you will escort the team to the portal to the Underworld and you will wait there until they come back through. Remember, assassins, you will stick out like a sore thumb down there. They can tell when someone is still living, and if you stay down there too long, well...you don't wanna know. In a few days time, Brendon will be throwing a party to celebrate...something, we aren't really sure. We have acquired fake invitations for all five of you. You will crash the party, and from there...Mona Lisa, you will come up with the plan of how to proceed after that."

"Yes, sir. Are we...are we allowed to know why they want us to take out Brendon Urie?" I ask, and he sighs.

"Most other organizations have tried and failed. He just keeps coming back, even when he's supposed to be dead. But you, Mona Lisa...other organizations know about TOXIN's famed assassin who has never failed a mission. I would trust you to handle this mission alone, but the party will be so big and you have never been to the Underworld. It would be safer for you to have a team with you," Talon explains, and I nod, knowing that he's right. We talk over some other details, before Talon dismisses us, telling us to get ready for the mission. I go back to my apartment, standing in front of my mirror, trying several different looks and outfits, until I finally come to one I like. I have strawberry blonde hair in a pixie cut and a green dress with a lace high-low overlay. I should keep this outfit like this. I take it off, hoping that maybe this time, it'll stay. The green dress turns back into the white jumpsuit that acts as my blanks as soon as it's not touching my skin, and I sigh. But as soon as I grab a piece of it in my hands, it turns back. I grab some masking tape and label the outfit, putting it on the side of my closet that holds the changed outfits. The other side holds the untouched white jumpsuits.
