Lana's P. O. V :
The bell rang signalling that the fifth period was over. I gladly walked out without even glancing back. 'Saved by the bell.' I thought to myself.
My teacher had asked to see my homework, that I forgot at home, all thanks to my little annoying brother who misplaced it when he borrowed my iPad BUT by the grace of the good lord I sometimes serve - only in times of need and desperation and had made a silent prayer to at the time of need - the bell rung, I had never heard a beautiful tune like the bell before as I left that class.
I saw Mary waiting for me in front of my locker, lazily waving at me as I make my way to her, with a few hello's from my school mates, I was almost there but a hand stops me.
Paul Dark.
'Ugh!, ugh!. The more I look at him, the more I want to ask God to make me blind better yet bleach my eyes with holy water.' My subconscious tells me.
"What do you want Paul? " I see his smile grow. Paul was a guy I once dated because I wanted to make a certain someone jealous and it didn't work.
It just kind of flopped.
And believe it or not he's hot. His grey eyes and brown curly hair and butt chin looked good on him, to others -including Beba- he screamed DADDY, to me he screamed CHEATER but hey, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. He was hot but not my type because this mother fucker is a nine timer. Yes ladies and germs, you heard right, this mother fucker was dating other nine girls who were too young to understand the concept of love.
His lips formed a mischievous smirk and I only roll my eyes at him. "Us, I want us back together. " he says while tugging me closer to him as a few students pass who had waved at me, a huge smile on my face.
'This Cheater! .' My subconscious complained. Getting disgusted I push him away from me.
A few of the cheerleaders pass by and smirks plaster on their faces. "Wipe those smirks off your fake ass faces, him and I aren't getting back anytime soon." they look at me with distaste.
"But baby, I lo-" I cut him off sparing him, sparing him and my whole entire being from him saying something stupid.
"No. No. No. No. NO!!!!! Now just leave me alone before I kick your sorry cheating ass and I'm talking about your butt chin!" I say and he surrenders backing away and disappearing into the storm of kids.
'Thank you Jesus.' I smile to myself.
The devil has left and went away, amen.
I walk towards my friend only to see her looking at me in amusement. "Well done Lana, looks like some girls envy what you just did and some just started hating on you." she says smirking at me as a few students passed us by greeting me and I also greet them.
Her baby blue eyes looking at me funny as her brown hair covered her face but I could see it, her cute nose and slim lips. She was beautiful and she knew it.
"Mary you know me very well to know that I don't give two flying fucks if someone doesn't like me. They aren't obligated to anyways." I say as I shove my heavy book into the locker and close it.
I hope I get paid for carrying these bricks -of knowledge - after I graduate.
Wouldn't it be nice though, getting paid for carrying heavy text books, that some times your teachers never used yet told you to come with them? Just so your back can start crumbling at a young age.
