Kinsley POV
"Hey, Easton." I say, as I pick him up for school.
"Yeah Kins?" Easton responds, throwing his bag in the backseat.
"What were those other things? The things you were talking about at the rodeo Sunday?" I probe him, drving towards school.
"You wouldn't want to know." Easton says, in a warning voice.
"Just tell me. I won't judge." I say carefully, not wanting to set him off.
"Drop it." Easton growls, looking out the window.
"Come on, tell me." I say, briefly looking over at him.
"I said, DROP IT!" Easton yells, his angry hazel eyes, flashing to meet mine. I roll my baby blue ones, and look back to the road. Great. We have arrived at school.
"Have a great day." I say snottily, slamming my door and stomping off.
"Kinsley, wait up. I'm sorry." Easton says, jogging to catch up with me.
"You know what Easton? Maybe it is too soon for us to be together, because you obviously don't trust me enough to tell me your past. So sorry not sorry to say, find another ride home." I spit in his face. I turn on my heel and walk to my locker. I'm almost to my locker when I run into a girl.
"Sorry! Wasn't watching where I was going!" She says, picking her stuff up.
"Let me help! Sorry about that, it was an accident." I say, picking up various pens, pencils, and papers.
"I'm Ayla, by the way." The girl says, shaking my hand.
"I'm Kinsley. Are you new?"? I ask her, while we walk to our first class, which we have together. We have all our classes together as well.
"Yeah, just started today actually." Ayla responds, sitting down at a desk. I sit beside her and pull out my sketchbook and pencils.
"Cool. I know this may sound wierd, but do you want to hang oyt after school? That way we can do homework and stuff like that." I say, looking over to Ayla.
"Sure, I don't have any other friends, or plans anyway." She rsponds lookjng up for the first time in a few mintes.
"Cool, wanna sit together at lunch?" I ask, trying to be a good friend. Ayla nofs and we both get to work.
~Magical Time Skip To Lunch~
"Ayla! Over here!" I yell, waving my new friend over. She sits down next to me, and I introduce her to the group. "Guys, this is Ayla. Ayla, this is Conner, Gabriel, Jase, Mabel, Callie, and let's not forget Easton." I say, as Easton sits across from Ayla. They all say hey, and then start a conversation.
"Hey." He says, but no one replies.
"Hi." Ayla squeaks out, obviously nervous.
"Ayla, don't be nervous." I say, putting my hand on her shoulder. We continue to eat and after lunch is over, we head back to oyr classes.
~Another Magical Time Skip To End Of The Day~
"Kinsley!" Ayla's voice yells down the hallway.
"Hey, Ayla." I say, as she runs next to me. "Ready to go?" I ask her, as we get in my truck.
"Yeah. My house or yours?" Ayla asks, as we're pulling out of the school parking lot
"Mine?" I ask, hoping it's okay with her. She nods and I proceed to drive home. When I pull up to my house, we hop out. "Whatcha wanna do first?" I ask Ayla, flopping onto my bed. She just shrugs her shoulders, and sits down next to me on my bed.
"Law And Order: SVU Marathon?" I ask, sitting up.
"Yeah." She says excitedly.
