I froze.
"I need to do what.... For what?" I emphasized on each "what" I said.
Margret looked at me, and smiled. I was still shocked that they would care enough, and I wasn't sure I heard her correctly.
"I said we are throwing you a Welcome Home party! Isn't that exciting?"
I weakly nod, and watch curiously, as she pulls into a McDonalds parking lot, goes out to the trunk, or hood because it's a Ferrari, and pulls out a bag. It's the type of bag that you get when you get your clothes dry cleaned.
Margret motioned for me to follow her, so I quickly get out of the wonderful air conditioning, and walked very fast, so I could match Margret's pace, to get out of the scorching heat.
My temperature dropped as soon as I walked through those doors and into McDonalds. Curiosity got the best of me, and I tried to peak in the bag... A dress.... And it was breath taking!
Margret laughed at me when she saw my face. It was a gorgeous strapless dress! From the waist up, it was turquoise blue, with layers upon layers of glitter. The waist down to mid-thigh, reminded me of when you looked the the bottom of a pool, and see the different shades of blue. That's how it was with the bottom of the dress, except it was grey.
When I was trying on the dress, I noticed the grey part was tightly fitted, showing off my curves, and the blue, is loose.
When I walked out of the bathroom stall, Margret gasped. For a second, I thought I hit someone with the door, but my confused look made her laugh.
"Jade, you look absolutely gorgeous!"
I blushed at the compliment, and said, "Why, thank you Margret! This dress must have cost you a fortune!"
"Don't thank me, Jade. You will meet the person you should thank later at the party."
I just nod, and put my clothes in the bag, and walked out with Margret.

An hour later, we arrived at their mansion. Margret and I got my luggage out of the trunk/hood, and I saw a few other cars were here, and realized they were here for the party.
Margret led me to the door, and I could hear the music blaring. I saw a there were a few people everywhere. Not a lot of people, but enough for a big party. There were people scattered in the kitchen, living room, outside in the front of the house, and out back.
As soon as I stepped foot in the house, all eyes were on me. Did I smear my makeup? Hmm... I'll check later. Then a boy, might I add hot, walked towards me.
"Hey, my name is Nicolas, but please, call my Nick." He held out his hand for me to shake, and I hesitantly shook it.
Nick had dirty blond hair, the same emerald green eyes as Margret's, and looked like her played a sport, or worked out.
Margret walks up to us and says, "Jade, I see you've met my son! He's the person that bought you that lovely dress!"
