"You bought me this dress? Oh my god, thank you soooo much!" Being the person I am, I leap out, and hug him.

"Really, it's no problem!" Nick looks around to make sure his mom won't hear what he says next. "I wanted my date to look beautiful, which you do, and this party is meant for you, you have to look stunning." As he said this, his eyes were twinkling.

***

When the party was in full swing, I decided to get my bags from the front door, and unpack.

It was then that I remembered... Where is my room?

As if Nick could read my thoughts, he said, "Your room is upstairs, third door to the right."

Right as a started walking away, Nick grabbed my wrist, and adds on to what he already said. "And change into your bathing suit. Everyone is going swimming."

I furiously shook my head. "I-umm-well you see what happen is-"

"Either you have a phobia of swimming, or you can't swim." Nick guessed. Ugh, now I know he would be able to see through any lies I make in the future.

I slowly nodded, and then turned and went upstairs, and walked into the third room, on the right.

***

Half an hour later, I was in my bathing suit. Now let me tell you something before you do the typical she's a cheerleader, so she can do anything and isn't shy! Psh, I call bologna sandwich. I'm a little, tiny, weensy bit insecure about my body. I mean, don't get me wrong. I have a cheerleader body, but it feels weird wearing a bathing suit, after what happened last year.

My ex boyfriend,James.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I walked down the stairs, and went out back. Why is everyone staring at me again? This is going to be a long night!
My bathing suit was a hot pink, with horizontal navy blue waves along the whole bathing suit.
"AH!" I screamed.
"Would you calm down? Its just me!" Nick whispered in my ear, which gave me shivers down my spine.
I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding.
Nick grabbed my hand, and lead me over to a small group of people, I'm guessing his friends. Think about it, Margret and Nick had to invite their friends, because what friends do I have here, in Jacksonville?
"Becca, Lily, Jack and Sean, this is Jade. She will be living with me and my mom. Jade, this is Becca, Lily, Jack, and Sean." As he said each of their names, they all reached out and shook my hand. Well that is except for Lily. She just gave me a huge bear hug! I think me in her will be great friends.
Becca was your typical goth. She had dark brown hair, and hazel eyes. Her bathing suit was all black, but not to mention a kind smile. Lily had dirty blonde hair, and crystal blue eyes. She had the same bathing suit as me, but purple, with green wavey lines. Jack was wearing royal blue swimming trunks, and had brown hair, and hazel eyes. Just like Becca! I wonder if they are siblings. Sean, I'm guessing was the schools bad boy. He was wearing black swimming trunks, and had brown hair, and gorgeous pale blue eyes.
"We were just about to go swimming, come with us, Jade!" Lily gives me a look and begs.
"Ummmm... I-ummm-well-"
Yet again, Nick saves me. "She has a little phobia of swimming, so she will just dipped her feet in the water. And no pushing her in!"
Nick says that last sentence loud enough for everyone to hear. Of course I give them a small smile while turning a deep shade of red.
Lily takes one arm, and Becca take the my other arm, and the three of us together, sit at the edge of the shallow end.
After a few minutes of getting the know Lily and Becca, and also learning that Becca and Jack were siblings, something happened. It didn't make me shocked, or scared.
I laughed. For the first time in a week, I actually laughed.
Nick got pushed into the pool, by Jack, and Sean!
