"What truth?" I asked

"Shall we walk to the cafeteria?" He suggested and I nodded in a yes.

We soon started walking through the corridor and with each step my heart is thudding, something is going to change I can feel it in my gut and where one part of me doesn't want to go while the other part is curious of what Omkara Bhaiya was talking about?

After a few minutes, we finally reached the cafeteria. Though being part of the hospital it was not dull but very comfortable and cosy sure this must be one of those luxurious hospitals which can give a big dent in your bank account but this was Oberoi family we are talking about so nothing can be luxurious for them because money is their second name or is it first? Whatever!

"Hey! Earth to Bhavya" He said waving a hand in front of me.

"Uh oh yeah, "I said embarrassed for zoning out like that.

"Shall we?" He asked pointing towards the door gesturing me to go first well that's Omkara Singh Oberoi always so chivalrous. We headed in and took our seats "Do you want something?" He asked when we sat opposite each other "Um no" I shook my head.

"Okay then one masala tea for me please," He said placing his order and after in a few short minutes his tea arrived woah fast much!

"So what do you want to talk about?" I asked impatiently

"Um..uh it's about Rudra and Saumya," He said

"Yeah what about them?" I asked again

"Uh I don't know where to start and I am the right person to tell you or not but its really important for my brother and for you too" He started giving me a heads up.

"What is it?" I asked impatiently,  Oh for the love of god tell me already!

"Well Rudra and Saumya are not just best friends.." He started

"Yeah they are really close friends I know" I interrupted

"No, they are... um they are married" He finished

"They are what?" I asked did I just hear Rudra is married "no that's not true Rudra.. no no.. he is marrying me so how can he be married?? No no its a joke right? You are going to laugh at me now huh?"

"No Bhavya I am not  joking, you know I don't lie not even for a prank and Rudra is married to Saumya he didn't tell you because he didn't believe in this marriage." He said his eyes full of guilt and sympathy.

"What why?" I asked still pretty shocked.

"Because the marriage happened when they were both drunk and Rudra had this image in his mind that how his life partner should be like," He said quite disappointed with his brother

"And what is that?" I asked again somewhat scared that I am not what he wants

"He thinks his life partner should be beautiful, fit like him, perfect in shape, she should exercise daily like..." he started

"Like me" I finished now I get it why he came to talk to me and those exercise sessions "what about Saumya?" I questioned fear gripping my heart

"She didn't want to burden him with an unwanted marriage so she backed off" he replied

"Just like that?" I asked

"Just like that," he said smiling wistfully

"Did she or..uh does she love him?" I asked gulping painfully and he nodded "Rudra?" I asked again dreading for the answer my heart already knows I just saw it in front of my eyes, the way his eyes lit up seeing Saumya it never happened with me .
