my parents are out for the weekend meaning i have the house to myself.

i texted my best friend jen to see is she could hang out.

she said she can't,damn im going be a loner.

the next thing you know someone is knocking at my door. who?

i went to the door and look through the peek hole, that person was covering it.

i opened to meet eyes with joel.

"hey y/n..." he said with a smile and blushed a little.

"hi..." is all i could say at the moment.

i had a huge crush on joel, i never told him i dont wanna ruined our friendship.

"so y/n, there's a party at my friends house and i was wondering if you would like to go with me?" he said.

light yet dark tint pink went up to my cheeks.

i nodded, "i would love to go with you."

"ok since its like 3 i'll pick you up at 5." he said and i nodded with a smile.

he left to his car, i closed the door and started to get ready for the party.

after an 40 minute shower time to decide hair, makeup, and mostly important outfit.

while doing my makeup i get a message from joel saying he'll come in 30 or 40 minutes.

good...enough time.

*skip time*

we finally arrived at the party, once we entered joel had his hand on my lower back.

oh how i loved this feeling.

a song came on, "may i have this dance with a beautiful lady?"

"yes." i said lead us to the dance floor. this dance needed our body to be close and which was the perfect time to tell him.

"joel i need to tell you something."

"oh k what's up."

"well you know we've been friends for a long time and im gonna going to point which is....."

"i like you joel..."

he looked at straight in my eyes before he started to lean in.

then our lips finally meet and sparks went all over my body.

"you know y/n i've been waiting for this moment forever." he said and i smiled.

"our dream came true." i said and he smiled at me with his forehead against mine.

"y/n y/l/n, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked and i hugged him.

"of course." we kissed and spent the rest of the night dancing.
