Fair

A certain girl, a simple wish,
a sign to show she'd been wrong all this time,
and yet, she's the one who did the crime.
So tell me now, how is that fair?

A certain girl, wanting a simple home,
a loving place for her to roam,
and yet, in a family of four, she's all alone.
So tell me now, how is that fair?

A certain girl, with little hope,
for a day of no more pain,
And yet every day, its pulled far by a rope.
So tell me now, how is that fair?

A certain girl, a simple wish,
for a loving family to show they care,
but instead, they only tear.
Tear her heart, her hope, her love,
turning her heart of gold to stone.

So, tell me now, how is that fair?
