Signs

10 1 2

Watch her close and see the signs.
Listen to her, hear the cries.
Look into her eyes, you'll see past the lies.
Because no matter what she says, she's not alright.

Listen for her cries at night,
lift her sleeves, you'll see I'm right.
She's written her letters, she's said goodbye.
But it's not too late, if you truly try.
Catch her just in time,
talk to her, before she dies.

Grab her hand, pull her away from the ledge,
stop her from an early end.
Because I know, somewhere deep inside,
she wants someone to see how hard she's tried.

So take her hand, look her deep in the eye,
say, "I love you, you'll be alright"
Hold her tight throughout the night,
and you'll be surprised,
Just how easy it is to save a life.
