Sylvia's Pov
It has been running in my mind for a few hours now. The urge to just give in and burn his ass out. I just wanted a job but I didn't expect this kind of level of annoyance.
The smirk in his lips every time he told me to do something so trivial. I swear if he told me to brew him a coffee I would flip him upside down.
I slumped down on my desk and closed my eyes for a moment. I should be attending class instead of working. I think that life is easier.. Well.. Not easier but maybe tolerable.
"Ms. Sylvia" the little annoying intercom sounded. "I need you in my office"
That sounded serious. But it's my lunch in two minutes... I sighed but started to walk to his office.
"You need me?" I asked letting a bit of irritation in my voice.
"No, I just want to say I need you in the intercom" he said sarcastically. Sometimes I wonder if he is serious or just plain sarcastic person at work.
"Seriously, what do you need boss?"
"I want you to reschedule this schedule of mine. I want to make a few changes" he said as he began on barking new schedules. Which is a lot compared to what he said to be few. I listed them all and when he is done I looked back to him seeing he has a smirk in his stupid face.
"I'll just go" I said turning back. "I don't want to even ask"
He laughed and I just continued to work my day off. The staffs were somehow trying to be on my good terms. They were all introducing theirselves and so on telling which guy they like and some standards on choosing men. I mean hello? Are we close?
I just let their words enter one side and pass through the other ear. Its a waste of braincells to even remember them since I would be moving away soon. Those happy smiles don't last. I know they won't last.
The day continued until I balled my fist and waiting for the intercom to sound and smash it then quit the job. It is not even funny. I was waiting and some other co-workers were looking at me weirdly. Probably thinking why the secretary is having murderous stance with the intercom.
Work with that Dante and you would Know!
Finally it sounded and I smashed it down screaming with my frustration. I gathered my things and was about to enter the elevator when Dante came to view running and seem in a hurry. I pressed the ground floor repeatedly while cursing why it is so slow to close.
The it closed but before it moved, I definitely heard a bang on the doors. I shrugged it off thinking what action is best to take. I should move away from here since someone clearly knows me and crazy enough I worked for him for two days. Maybe I should work online. Hmmmm.. I'll try that when I get to my place.
As I finally reached the ground floor which took so long because of the frequent stops, Dante was already waiting by the door. The sweat trickling down in his face was a proof that he ran ten floor building to catch up with me. A stupid boss indeed.
"Just where are you going?" he asked still breathing heavily. "You smashed... The intercom"
"I quit if that is not so obvious" I said coldly trying to get off the elevator but he pushed me back inside and pressed the top floor again. I was about to scream at his face for being so stupid when he spoke first.
"Why are you quiting?" he asked "In just two days of working? You give up too easily when many is dying to have your job."
"I don't care" I said as the the door opened and a few people got in. The were looking at us weirdly but I just glared at them. They quickly looked away and I resumed glaring at Dante. "The only work I did in two days is organize your schedule, and attend a stupid meeting in your place. Do you think my time is that expendable I could play around with it?"
