MUNDANE WORLD

There are no other presences of other spirits besides Fuzzball and Yahiko but there's one thing that has been bothering him ever since they step inside.

Abeno runs his hand along the wall of the shrine while Fuzzy runs ahead of him to make sure there's no shrine maiden or the high priest himself is within their sight.

"Fuzzball, it's better if you conceal your presence just to be safe" Fuzzy nodded, continuing his job in excitement although Ashiya is not with him.

They've been wandering around inside the shrine for a while now but there's no one to be seen, not that he's complaining. Somehow he hopes to see one or two walking around to bring peace to his mind yet wishing not to be noticed by anyone at the same time.

It's too easy for them to get (break-in) inside. If it were a robber instead, they'll lose everything by now. As if it was a trap.

"Oh my, aren't you a cutie!" A girly voice squealed "How do you get inside, little one? Are you perhaps sick?"

Abeno stopped dead in his track when a voice spoke while he wasn't on guard. He looks down in search of one of his employees but Fuzzy is nowhere to be seen.

Abeno jumps out from the corner when he realized that the person can see a spirit and Fuzzy could be in danger.

Both of them froze at seeing each other, the smile on her face fades. Their eyes met for a moment before Abeno shifted them to look down at her hands. There it was Fuzzy, looking comfortable with a complete stranger.

"H-how did you- You shouldn't be here" she whispered looking alarmed, striding to where he stood.

"Come with me" she grabs a hold of Abeno's arm before he can protest and pulled him inside a room closer to them. She closed the door behind her with a heavy sigh.

It takes a moment for Abeno to clear the confusion of who this girl is because she was acting a little bit familiar with him. Then it struck him when he can smell the fragrances of flowers from her. She's Aya, the Goddess.

"We need to talk Aya-dono" Abeno starts breaking the silence as Fuzzy jumps off from her arms and latched himself onto Abeno. She nodded tugging strands of her light brown long hair that reach past her hips behind her ears. She wears a kimono that match the season, white and dark maroon with maple leaves patterns.

"Do have a sit" she smiles politely but her voice was weak. Together they walk to the middle of the room and settled themselves on the cushions. This is the first time he sees his current client's face and clearly, she's older than he is.

"As for your request-" Abeno was cut off before he could finish his sentence.

"About that Master of Mononokean, I apologize but I'll call off my request if it's not too late..." Aya lets out a nervous laugh.

"Thank you so much for going out of your way to help me but it was a mistake on my behalf and I should have informed you sooner. Do forgive me" she bows down apologizing.

Abeno was flabbergasted to the fact a goddess or whatever she is was apologizing to a mere human like him.

"I'm afraid I couldn't do that, Aya-dono" Abeno briskly refuses her appeal making her flinched, so she straightens herself up.

"But why-" she stops as his eyes fixed on her with that strong gaze, he's determined to get his job done.

"Even if you said no I'll still have to take you to the Underworld" he stated.

"Underworld?" Aya tilts her head, eyebrows knitted in confusion but they're interrupted when the door opens forcefully making a loud rattling noise then came in a furious woman.
